I got my hair done by Katie Welden and she did a fantastic job! I am naturally a brunette and now, because of Katie, I am a fiery red head! The nice thing is I get stopped all the time and asked if that is my natural color! That's how wonderful of a job she did! The cut is fabulous and because I am a girl on the go, Katie cut it in a manageable way for me! She knew I don't have time to blow dry my hair and style it, so she cut it in a way that I can wear it down if I want or I can put it in a pony tail and be on my merry way! The staff there is beyond wonderful! After my hair was done, a few of the stylist and the receptionist came up to me and said how nice my hair looked and they seemed very genuine about it! The place is beautiful! I love the elegant walls, the stations are clean, and I love the new dye! It usually took Katie a few times to get the color right at her other salon, but at 10 with the new dye, she only had to do it once! And I think the color is more vibrant and has already last longer than when she last dyed my hair! =) I am so excited to be a patron of this wonderful salon and I highly recommend any stylist there, especially Katie! I cannot say enough about this salon and Kelsey Kozak in particular. I have had so much difficulty with finding the right person to take care of my hair and never have been happy with any stylists I tried. No one ever was able to make my hair look or feel how I wanted until I met Kelsey. I was nervous about getting hair extensions but Kelsey talked everything through with me and I was extremely impressed with her professionalism but what stuck out to me the most was how she treated me like a friend she had known forever. I couldn't have been any happier with the extensions, color, and cut that she did. I referred over five people to her because of how happy I was and they all had the exact same reaction I did. I finally found someone I can trust with my hair and I could not be any more grateful for that! She ALWAYS finds time to squeeze me into her busy schedule even if it means her getting in super early in the morning or staying late after a long day. I have been going to 10 hair and nails for almost 2 years now and after trying all of the top rated salons in the area and in the chestnut hill I am loyal to Kelsey! Not only is she extremely talented, hard working, and fair but the salon itself and the owner Tracy are so welcoming and professional. I have never had anything but a positive experience here, I am ALWAYS taken care of. Since moving to Plainville in 2010 I've been searching for a good stylist that I trusted/felt comfortable with to dye my hair (I've been wanting to add purple for years). Hair and Nails is a new and growing hair salon at a very convenient location on route1 in Plainville. I moved here with "Faith" who has been my hairdresser for over 2 years. She is so talented and professional. I have never had as many compliments on my hair cut or color. She is always on time. The new shop looks cool and trendy in black and silver, with natural light from a large window and a very nice sitting room for before appointment or waiting for treatments to set. After he had been going to her for a few months and had great cuts every time, I started going to her! She's consistent, versatile and does a fantastic job. Love it here! I've been going to Kelsey for over a year now & she always makes my hair perfect every time! I'm a blonde so that's not something every stylist can pull off. If your looking for a reliable, talented stylist go see Jennifer fornash. She took my Hair from BLACK, badly dyed box color, back to my Beautiful blonde natural color. She is excellent at color correction and coloring in general. She will also cut your hair exactly as you want. I had a bad experience before I came to Jen where my hairdresser would never cut my Hair the way I wanted. Jen listens and makes suggestions but ultimately does exactly what you want. I now won't let anyone else touch my hair but her. She's amazing! I highly recommend her. read more

Faith Justice is an amazing colorist, and trains other hairstylists in the newer, vibrant colors. She did an amazing job with my granddaughter's hair.. transforming an over bleached damaged orange to an amazing healthy multi toned blue that my granddaughter loves. She receives many comments on the artistry of the colors. I never thought I would like blue hair... but it is stunning. She does a great job on my more traditional highlights. Highly recommend Jen Fornash! I have been going to her for the last few years and she is wonderful. She does great cuts, color and overall has an awesome personality. She has done classic cuts and color on me as well as edgy color and I have never left disappointed. I have thick and curly hair and she recommended a treatment called perfection (by Pravana) on me which has really improved my texture and straightening... Katie is the BEST! My hair was a disaster, truly horrible, broken and badly damaged. She spent time with me and explained which style would be best for me (from the pictures I had on my phone). She cut and styled my hair so fantastic that I wanted to go out even though it was a Tuesday night! The color came out incredible as well. Faith is my stylist. I wanted to go back to brown after having highlights forever and I was new to the area. She gave me a gorgeous brunette shade that grows out nicely AND a great cut! I keep going back. I like that Faith is willing to chat with you or leave you to your book...I never feel like I have to socialize if I don't want to.
