Fantastic place for coffee anytime and for breakfast! Located very close to Quevedo metro station, the place has a nice atmosphere between modern and cozy, it gets crowded in the morning. Coffee is very strong,if you like such coffee you will love this place,andthey have many many options and types of coffee (check my photos :)). The breakfast prices are really cheap, I chose the typical pan con tomate, it was quite big and very delicious! Maybe, as a comment, the amount of tomatoe is too small for the size of toast, but you can pour as much olive oil as you want to fill the gaps :) which is amazing! Bombon coffee is extra sweet and delicious as well :)... a good option if you need an energy boost. read more

The food is delicious, the service is fast, the wifi is free and unlimited. All things that are hard to find in a Madrid cafe. Toast and tomato, coffee, and juice for 2.50. They have several other extremely affordable breakfast options. You can't beat that. The bread is delicious homemade sourdough. The coffee is fine, nothing special but does the job and is tasty. Definitely recommend this cafe to all expats (and locals) in Madrid looking for the comforts of home in a coffee shop/restaurant. read more

Quaint, spacious, decorated with a regional flair- type coffee house located in the north west corner of Gloireta de Quevedo roundabout, numero 8. I noticed many people with their "usual" orders made to go. Seems like the place was occupied with older folks and others in no particular hurry besides tourists like me. I like cappuccino in the morning, and the xxl could have lasted me into the afternoon. It was "bucket" sized and done to perfection. The bizcocho de limon casero caught my eye. The lemon flavor popped out of the obviously freshly made pound cake. It was moist and crumbly. I was served a generous section of the bundt ring that came flanked with whipped cream with a dusting of cocoa powder. I don't know the local price comparison, but you would pay well over €4.70 in California. (Closer to $10 for the portions received). Great people watching location, and bonus, free wifi, just ask for the password. I was satisfied in every way. Check it out if you are in this section of Madrid. read more

Came here one evening with a bunch of friends. Some of us ordered tea / coffee and some of us ordered food. The food was pretty decent. Everything seemed overpriced on the menu but the portions are large. The reason this place gets two stars is because of the INCREDIBLY RUDE staff. We had negative experiences both with the waiter and the woman working at the register. So much attitude from both of them and everyone is rushing to get you ordered and paying as fast as possible. I've been to plenty of places in Spain and am not expecting American customer service, but this was a huge turn off. It's a shame since I live very close to this cafe and would likely frequent it but I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Really bad service. Blatantly rude and refusing to serve a variety of coffee on account of missing equipment, that I miraculously is right there on the counter when you go in to pay. Then when your coffee is served, your stuff is swept aside as they throw your cup in front of you, splashing away. Coming from Seattle USA, I loved everything about this coffee shop. It's spacious, the staff is incredibly friendly, the coffee is wonderful along with the food. All of their food is made in house and has a lovely homemade touch, especially their Spanish Omelette (forgive my ignorance on its proper name). They even have a variety of common US brewing methods including ChemX, Syphon, Aeropress, and V60, which is something I struggled to find in Madrid. Familiarity aside, it has a lovely Spanish touch. It's hit or miss on whether or not the person you're interacting with speaks English, but if you're not familiar with the language, they have an English menu. If you're looking for breakfast or a coffee, I highly recommend you stop by. P.S. if you get the chance to talk to David behind the bar, he's awesome. read more

The staff was extremely friendly. The prices are fair, and many of their food is homemade. I had a chicken curry wrap and it was super delicious. They also have Wi-Fi. Definitely will go back there to relax, very spacious, especially all the way in the back. read more

Let me start by saying the coffee and the food are fantastic. Great quality at a reasonable price. The reason I'm giving this place a poor rating is because the staff is incredibly rude. The waitress never once looked at me, she was curt and was slamming my food down on the table and walking away quickly. I watched carefully and she acted this way to all the foreigners in the cafe but was kind and attentive to all the local people. Whoever owns this shop needs to realize that having a staff like that will only hurt their business in the long run. One of the best customer service I've had in this city. I went at about 10:30am for breakfast. They were quick and nice. The cream bollería I ordered was tasty and the coffee was not bad either. Plus you can enjoy your meal out in the sun and enjoy the view of a statue and the passersby. read more

Loved this place. I don't know who the other people met that were rude, but we had this fantastic waiter that gave us a huge greeting and warm welcome each time we came back. Upon coming to this place, I had pretty high expectations since there are so many dainty and delicious cafes in Madrid. Within the first couple minutes of entering the cafe, I could already tell that I would not be a very big fan of this place. Being an American exchange student, my use of Spanish was very limited. While I acknowledge the fact that I am the foreigner and they are not required to help me figure out the menu or order, the workers and baristas just stared at me as I struggled to order then proceeded to talk about me and laugh as if I didn't understand what they were saying. Of course, I let that go and ordered a latte and slice of carrot cake and sat down at one of the tables in the back. While I did enjoy my latte, the carrot cake fell very short for me and definitely not comparable to some of the other cafes in the area. The worker handed me my bill halfway through my latte and cake, but I didn't think too much of it and figured he just wanted to drop it off early. However, he returned two more times asking if it was ready. Therefore I felt very rushed and unwelcome despite the fact that there weren't that many people in shop. To add to this, the wifi is not reliable and drops very frequently. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience here as much as I wanted to and would much rather go to neighboring cafes such as the Little Big or Monkee Cafe just a few blocks over. One star for the size and decor and one star for their coffee. read more
