He wanted to come in our cabin to "look at a door," but all he did was walk around and look at all of our things, then leave without saying a word. He walked around outside our cabin almost daily with a chainsaw. Never greeted us or acted friendly at all. We were extremely creeped out that he had a key to our cabin and put a chair in front of the door at night. The owner was a very nice elderly lady and we didn't complain to her because she seemed overwhelmed.

We were given plenty of information about events at the visitor's center, and also here at the park. The grounds are very clean, nicely paved roads and lots. The bathrooms are huge! They have private showers with the bathroom, heated and apparently recently remodeled. You won't find that at your other parks! The hook ups for water and electricity are newer and nice. I went into the marina and although I feel like their prices are a little on the pricey side they have really nice stuff in there and a really nice deck to sit out on and see the gorgeous river. I highly suggest this place as a great area to have your best camping experience!

We had originally hoped to go horseback riding but were told that was no longer available. Instead,…read morewe decided to rent e-bikes. Calling what followed an "adventure" is an understatement. The terrain was extremely rough, rocky, and covered with loose gravel--something we were not adequately prepared for. Unfortunately, both of us wiped out and ended up with injuries. The area is beautiful and seeing the various livestock was fun, but equipping guests with more information about the trails would have been extremely helpful.
