I had no idea how much a DJ could do on wedding day-- but it was truly amazing to have him cover the whole sound system, from mic'ing the officiant to playing transition music in different spaces as we move, to making announcements throughout the night, and of course creating a fun dance floor at the end of the night. He has great DJ software which allowed us to upload our playlists and song selections directly from Spotify or YouTube. His questionnaires are very comprehensive for every portion of the night, and he anticipated any potential needs or errors in our setup and timeline prior to the event. The additional star to make this a four star review is that Mike (manager), Sydni (photographer), and Hector (videographer) were very nice and easy to work with. The photos and video that captured our wedding were as expected, the photos looked beautiful with the mute tones I was looking for. Sydni did an awesome job of making my husband and I comfortable during both our engagement and wedding photos. She made it very fun and silly. I am an event planner and manager myself, so the post-event follow up is just as important pre- and during. I understand that editing, compiling and uploading photos/videos is a lengthy process, in addition to multiple clients, so I wasn't expecting anything back sooner than what was contracted. However, it took multiple follow ups to get my photos and videos, and I never received all my photos on the USB drive or the custom photo album as noted on my contract. I ended up having to do this myself through their online gallery and Walgreen's. I would definitely consider 1024 for future corporate events, even though the service post wedding was sub par. read more

Hands down our favorite vendor of our wedding in November in Temecula. My husband and I absolutely both agreed that hiring 1024 was one of the best decisions we made when it came to our wedding. For both of us, music and dancing is a huge deal. Being that my husband and I are from different backgrounds with different music tastes, finding a blend for both sides of the family was a concern. However, Mike did a brilliant job reading the crowd, involving people with games and how to play a beat that would have everyone rushing to the dance floor. Another concern for me was that the DJ spoke Spanish for some of my family (I am Mexican) and DJ Mike had that covered too. Mike is extremely professional and great with responding less than an hour. He is great with making sure he understands the overall vision of both bride and groom. We also used his lighting services which everyone said made it a world of difference at the venue. 1024 did our DJ service for our wedding reception. Mike and Lenny were both very nice, and were easy to get ahold of. The sound was good, they were on time, and were very professional. They have an awesome feature on their website that allows you to choose which songs are a "must play" for your event. Follow that with another list of songs to be played "if time allows" for, and then a list of "do not play" songs. We loved that concept! My wife and I spent hours putting together the song lists that we wanted to hear at our wedding reception. It included popular hip hop songs, country songs, 80's rock songs, etc. However there was a small area that said to let the DJ play songs on our song list / play what people respond to. I would recommend stressing this point to the DJ about what you want to hear exactly. I think that we heard maybe a quarter (or half to be generous) of the song list that we actually had put together. We did not realize that feature would cut out the majority of our song list. My wife and I are both very into music, so that song list was very important to us for our wedding reception. We kept asking each other throughout the night, "what song is this?" And "did you request this song?" Etc. We brought it up to Mike after the event, and he said that it was both of our fault for not being more clear about the song playlist. We both agreed that overall, we still had a fun night. But truth be told, the song playlist that was ultimately played at our event really does bother us honestly. And it forever will. We really regret that part in a very big way. It is frustrating. On a positive note, Lenny was very nice to us and our guests. At the end of the night, he did let a friend of mine sing karaoke to some songs being requested on the spot. It was entertaining, and it made our guests laugh. I would consider working with them again in the future. Just please be sure to be super clear about what songs ultimately get played. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Mike! He is absolutely the best and blew our expectations out of the water. He was the DJ/MC for our wedding in June. From day 1 until the day of the wedding he was easy to work with, professional, genuine, and extremely helpful.
