I can remember when 104.3 came out. All of a sudden there was this new radio station in town that played "nothing but the hits, nothing but the hits, nothing but the motherf**king hits." And it was good, when I was a kid. But young me didn't know things, didn't have 24/7 access to all kinds of music, and young me was easily entertained. What I really like about 104 is the fact that they play whatever is "in" right now. So you get a mix of Taylor Swift, Drake, Adele, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo, Nicki Minaj, Elle King, and Taylor Swift (they play a lot of Taylor Swift). During the day the only play radio edits, so clean versions only and from what I can tell they only switch over to explicit versions if they're playing live at a club and broadcasting it. So not a bad choice for families (during the day) with kids that like pop music. 104.3 is great when I want to jam out to some pop songs, or the 5 o'clock Bambucha, or House music late at night. All those things, it's great for, but when some of the DJs get on I just have to switch. And I hate to say that because I really like some of these DJs when they're DJing, but there are just certain programs that I have to change the station for. It's not because it's offensive or anything like that, a lot of times they just sounds really uneducated and sometimes about things they should be pretty educated on (you know like hot spots in town or happenings in town... at least use Google, guys). And the Carmen calls... they've literally never been funny. You will never see a Carmen call go viral because they are plain boring. The entire plot line is she says, "Hola, my name is Carmen," and then says something completely nonsensical that couldn't make someone with PBA laugh, the person hangs up, she calls back and says "This is Carmen, I believe we were disconnected," and repeats the previous line. She does this for about 1-2 minutes. Not a fan. Just stick to "nothing but the hits, nothing but the hits, nothing but the mortherf**king hits" and ya'll will be golden. read more
