I found this place on yelp. It was just a short walk away from me and I was able to book an appointment on their website for the very next day. The location of the business is on the 2nd floor and I had to be buzzed in. I was greeted kindly by my massage therapist, Jesse. Before we started the massage, I filled in a short bit of paperwork and Jesse looked up direct billing through my insurance provider. I was happy to hear about direct billing since it saves you the time to submit online and the wait to get your money back from your insurance provider. The studio is smaller and has two private rooms for massage. Very clean and with nice simple decore. The private room was lit perfectly and there was some relaxing music playing. The temperature was pleasantly warm and it was very easy to relax. Again very clean!!! Jesse was a great massage therapist and applied perfect pressure for a deep tissue massage. I was in dire need for massage due to some neck pain. He was very professional and my back felt great and back to normal a few days later. I've been back to see Jesse 3 times and I am now going to see him on a regular basis. The studio is located above a restaurant/lounge (The Common) and shares the second floor with a few other small business, but it has always been very quiet and relaxing with absolutely no disruptions. read more

I bookmarked this place and Jesse from a friend off Yelp and I am so ever greatful. It was a very unique massage experience in the sense that it felt like every movement was calculated and intentional. You can just tell he knows the body really well. I'll be going back! There seems to be two massage rooms. The one I was in was really cute and relaxing. I like how it's above the Common. It has a nice home-y vibe. Found this place on yelp. I love the easy to use online booking system. What could be better? The room is really cold. For me that makes it difficult to relax. It's a little place tucked away by The Common in Edmonton. At $60, it's comparable to the other places downtown where you can get a massage. I was able to book a massage for the next day. Got my shoulders and neck done and felt great! The music was also really good. Acoustic guitar not the squawking birds that you hear elsewhere. read more

I've been looking for a good massage therapist for a while now. I her severe shoulder pain from time to time and this week was particularly bad. This prompted me after bookmarking 109 on Yelp, to make an appointment. They have a straightforward booking app on their website, which was zero hassle to use. Right on 109 street, this place is above the common so you need to be buzzed in. This is a small location with just two rooms but it's super relaxing. And I felt good about the booking as soon as I walked in and met Jesse. I'd heard and read good things about Jesse so was keen to see him. He helped me out with insurance paperwork and talked about what brought me in. Then told me what areas we would work on to help my shoulder and neck issues. The room was lovely, with drapery over lighting to get the right mood. The music was great, not like whale noises I've experienced elsewhere. And the bed was extremely comfortable but don't get used to that comfort, this is a deep tissue massage! After about 20 seconds he did a thing that stopped the shoulder and arm pain I was experiencing, then got to work. I never expected so much to pop and move. It hurt at times but I could tell it was correcting a lot of knots and back issues from the first visit. I was given exercises to do at home until my next appointment and he thinks after two weeks I'll be back to normal. Huzzah! I'll continue to see Jesse for massages after that as it reminded me how important it is to look after your body. I'll never get back into that state again. read more

Great online booking service with helpful reminder emailed right to your phone! Conveniently located downtown in Snap Fitness. Plenty of street parking (can get busy with Pampa Steakhouse dinner hour). Awesome deep tissue massage! Natalie definitely worked out much of the tension. Pretty good value for the dollar. The gym can be slightly noisy, but you hardly notice it once you relax. I recommend this location for anyone who is on a tight schedule. Many RMTs are done in the early afternoon. I was able to get a 90 minute booking at 7 pm. Already booked my follow up! read more

I had the greatest massage of my life here. I loved the space, it was beautifully relaxing. It is located on a busy road, so once in a while you may hear traffic, but I hardly noticed and definitely didn't care because my massage was so good. I plan on this being my new regular spot now. read more

Provided with a confirmation number, appointment time and date. Arrived 15min prior to the appointment only to find THEY ARE CLOSED (buzzers and phone calls to confirm). How do you possibly have an online booking system that provides even the name of the RMT and it doesn't coincide with your business hours? Get it together and don't waste your clientele's time. read more

I've gone to Natalie many times and the massages seem to differ each time. Sometimes the massage was amazing and relieving and other times I'm a little disappointed and feel like the experience was not worth the cost. I recently went to the new girl and had the oddest experience. She breathed heavily on my face, and had no real order to what part of the body she was massaging. Although it was not a relaxing experience at all and I was not feeling comfortable or even calm, the pain I went in for did actually get resolved. However I've had many massages before and I don't think I'll return to this practise because of the huge variability in the quality of the service. read more

I went to see Natalie for a much needed massage (had a super sore back, and could hardly move) but forgot to check in! My bad. It was super simple to use the online booking tool to get an appointment. Everything worked out splendidly. When I buzzed in to get into their new location (across the street from their old location), I was greeted with a smile from Natalie. I filled out my paperwork, and gave her my benefits cards so I could be direct billed. Unfortunately, it didn't work as I have to have a doctors note for massages (oh well). Next time! Natalie was nice enough to explain what I needed to do, to proceed with this. Anyways, it was time for the massage. She had asked what parts were affected, and where to concentrate on. I decided to go for a full body massage, with concentration on the back. Because, why not? I haven't had a professional massage in years. (almost a decade actually) but I still sort of knew what to expect. It was awesome. I'd get a massage every day if I could. The music she had playing in the treatment room was mellow and calming (think: Ben Harper) and I quite enjoyed it. I found that Natalie has SUPER strong hands (I should have asked her to push lighter, but if I didn't get the knots out now, I never would). The massage table was comfortable, as was the temperature in the room. Excellent ambiance. The street noise is audible, but easily tuned out if you focus on relaxing and the music playing. She asked if I wanted lavender or peppermint oil for a neck massage. Went with peppermint, and it left my skin nice and cool and tingly. I have super sensitive skin, but the oils that were used didn't leave me itchy, or with breakouts. That's a super bonus. I hope to go see Natalie again, and this time have my benefits in order. I've been having jaw pain for a few years and have been back and forth to dentist. Haven't been for a massage in a few years and went to see Natalie about a month ago for my back and after her massaging my neck I left with the tension finally leaving my jaw. The business has moved across the street to a suite above the common restaurant. It's a great little space that Natalie has renovated really nice. You don't get the noise from the gym anymore. Just buzz 003 and you can get in up the stairs. She also has a new male massage therapist working there. It's always nice to go see Natalie. I have seen both therapists here, and it was an excellent massage both times. A real asset to this business is the fact that they have a pneumatic massage table, so the therapist can raise and lower it as they work. This makes it easier for them to be able to do the deep tissue work easily. The room is light and calming, but you can occasionally hear the clank of weight plates from the gym. The online appointment booking is really convenient, and I've had no trouble finding a meter out front both times I went. read more
