The web site makes it super easy to book and see what people and time slots are available. This was my first time to this location but Trish was warm and welcoming and made me feel right at home. Despite the apparently full schedule (based on the web site booking page) I didn't see a single other person besides Trish while I was there, which was pleasant and all the more relaxing. Trish also helpfully followed up with an email listing some recommended yoga stretches good for sore backs. The rooms are pleasant and clean, and the whole atmosphere is soothing. I dropped by this place on Oct 2025, I was going to take only one session to see how is it. They gave me different pricing with and without membertship and they told me it is free to try the membership, which it is true join membership costs nothing. I booked the appointment for massage, gave them my info and credit card information. When I was there at the spot to do massage, I found that the catch is that you have to commite minimum 3 months to have the discounted price. Otherwise, the price is much higher than other places. So that is fine I can tried 3 times, I was kindly to sign the commiment/membership. (They gave me bunch of paper works, normally people were are not going to read them words by words, which would cause you a no-easy-quit) After you in the program, they will pre-charge your credit card then you can use it. My other massage places are not doing this, you alwasy do the treatment and then pay. Thing gets intereting is that when my 3 months commiment is over. I told them at the spot in the store on Dec 2025 when my 3rd treatment done, I would like to cancel my membership; they said they can not cancel it; they have me to email them; also I have to do it in 30 days advance. I initially, just wanted to try for only 3 times, see the screenshot, from Oct to Dec 2025. When membership finished, they do not give you a easy way to quit; due to the holidays and email cancellation request only, they kicked the ball, intentionally to comlicate and delay the process, so to have you miss the so-called policy cancellation period, and sure, charge you ahead and make you spend more there. ( cuz normally, people would not pay much attention to the rule and do not care since we covered by insurance.) Then I emailed them on Jan 19 2026 to cancel the auto withdraw and membership;(my 4th payment was already charged on 15th). They replied back to me the cancellation is confirmed on Feb 5th. see the screenshot email. So I was like, fine, they already charged me, I can use it then that is it. On Feb 28, I was going to use my 4th credit, they told me you can not use it until you make the 5th payment for 15th Feb. The reason is that, your cancellation submmited on 19th Jan, there is no 30 days notice in advance. So you have to make one more payment: 5th payment, then you can use the 4th credit today. I was like, my commitment is over, I should be able to quit anytime I want, and I did the email request too. This is such a rip-off, It is understandable you pre-charge my credit card for the 3 month term, but why when it is finished. You are still authorized to pre-charge me? This business is trying their best to squeeze as much as they can out of you. If you argue with them, they just saying you sign the documents. I understand I am covered by insurance, it is kind free for me, but this is not moral to do so.

Have to say, it was one of the best massages I have ever had. I was able to do half sports therapeutic massage and half relaxation. I sit at a desk all day at work, so I get tight knotted back muscles, Carline was able to get all those loosened up. The ambience of the room is perfect, I do like it better than the old place I went to, as it was more dimly lit and added to the relaxation. Though just be warned, with the relaxing atmosphere and massage, it may be hard not to drift off in sleep ha. I'm happy to say that I have found a new regular massage therapist to get the kinks out of my muscles, and to just unwind/de-stress with a nice relaxing massage.

I've seen a few therapists there and they've all been great, some better than others but that really comes down to personal preference. I prefer really deep massages and, in the past, have had a hard time finding a therapist who can consistently maintain the pressure I prefer. Then I found Mike. He is by far, hands down the BEST therapist I've ever been to. He shows me stretches to do at home, and uses different techniques to work the target area. The place is clean, comfortable and everyone there has been nothing less than professional. I would, and have many times, recommend Alberta Momentum (either location) to anyone!

I also booked a deep tissue with Gwen and it was a relaxation massage at best. I indicated that I required more pressure (I am very athletic and compete in a lot of endurance sports) and that request was met with no change in the service. The next day, I noticed that my back was actually more irritated and something happened to my IT band because Gwen aggravated a very, very, like a decade's old, knee injury that hasn't bothered me in a number of years. Bobbi the RMT explained before my appt. that she does extremely deep work and the 90min I requested isn't needed cos she gets to everything and her style of massage will be too much too handle for that long. We had words back and forth but I agreed to try an hour. She also said she was massaging for many yrs and employed by The Elks so she thinks she knows everything but who cares?? That doesn't mean that what you do is for everyone and it very much isn't ! It's for football players and athletes basically, who like their knots being attacked with no warm up of the muscles beforehand. After my so called...massage...she asked me if she missed anything, and I was thinking..ya some actual massage maybe instead of holding onto the table in pain? And the tops of my shoulders that were the worst weren't addressed properly. The day after my massage I felt the same as I did without it. Exuse me but I know what I need and I'm not "being sold 90min massages by other therapists", I enjoy a normal deep tissue massage that actually DOES help me, and 90min is usually the time that's needed for it. I've been getting massages for over 25yrs and you think I don't know what I respond to and what I need for my own body?? Of course if you just jump in with no warm up and hardly any actual massage it takes less time just to jump from knot to knot trying to fix them but that's not what a lot of people want, + it's extremely painful doing that in the first place.
