They have a clean and welcoming studio, and the ladies are professional. Although the first time I went, the hybrid extensions fell out in less than a week even with proper care, I didn't complain. However, when I had to cancel my appointment in less than 24hrs due to a sick child, I was charged $50-so heads up if you use a card they'll keep it on file and spend it. I understand the cancellation policy, but due to circumstances out of my control, I would think there would be exception since I emailed as soon as possible and it was completely out of my control. I feel I'm being penalized for having an unexpected sick toddler with nobody else to care for her. I have been in there many times when last minute appointments were accepted or artists were not booked. And FYI, had it been an emergency where I could not have notified them, they charge 100% of the service. Which is not a fair policy since the service could have very well cost less. Another studio in Savannah or Pooler will be getting my service and money from now on. So that missed money from my child getting sick cost a lot more than half of one appointment cost from what would have been a long term customer. Not impressed at all with how that was handled.

This is directed solely at the Brow Bar, located in Ulta. I went and received an eyebrow wax. A few…read moredays later I noticed a few bumps coming up and thought it was the normal breakout that appears after a wax. The wax was not hot and the girl did a fabulous job. A few days later my "bumps" became blisters and started to spread over my forehead to places that were not in area that had been waxed. I called and went back in to Ulta to see why this happened. I was told that the girl that waxed my eyebrows was not the most hygienic person. The only thing I can think of that she used was her makeup brushes that are used to show customers samples and such. I was told that it may be a fungus and that I should get Selsun Blue and that should clear it up...today almost a month later..I still have a few "bumps"..and I can honestly say that I will not be going back to Ulta.

The first time I ever had my brows tinted along with a brow wax,. She was extremely patient with me because I didn't want them too dark (I'm blonde) or too noticeable, just a subtle change and they look amazing! I also had a lash lift and tint on my little sparse eyelashes and it was just the pop of color I needed! I also had my underarms and lower legs waxed. I was supposed to get the full legs done but she suggested that I really didn't need it so I appreciated her advice (and saved me money). Finally the Brazilian... I'm not sure what wax she uses but it was totally painless, she walked me through each step as she was doing it and made sure I was comfortable. She was charged $90 but then was told she got a discount, bringing it to $70. This is her 3rd time there and it was not this expensive before, getting the same thing. The nail tech cut her finger and was not friendly. I get you can have a bad day, but it shouldn't be taken out on a customer.

She treated her staff poorly, telling them they were doing a bad job and yelling in front of the customers, making the environment very uncomfortable. We tried several variations over several months and Judy did an excellent job. Unfortunately, I was never satisfied with my hair growing out and elected to cut it into a pixie again.
