The website has no form of instant feedback if you have a problem or if there is a glitch on either your side of the websites. You are forced to call a number direct (I believe it is just the owners personal number). He may take up to 24 hours to call you back and then refuses to fix the problem medianly. He also referred to me as honey as well as other informal and borderline condescending names. You would be better off to take Drivers Education with another business. Due to a glitch and their lack response my child had to reschedule their drivers test.

She explained the process to me and even found ways for me to save money if I was willing to take a few steps on my own ahead of time. The training facility is in Carson City. I attended the school for three days a week, (Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays,) and was able to complete my 100 to 120 hours in a little over a month. it was very helpful that I could make a custom training schedule to suit my Individual needs since I worked on the other weekdays while attending this program. I thought the instructors were very knowledgeable, easy-going, and willing to help each individual out to make sure you were gaining the necessary skills required for getting a CDL. I'm happy to say I am now a legal Class A Nevada license holder even had a job before I finished the program. I was also able to obtain my hazmat, doubles and triples, and tank endorsements through the DMV. So when I took my final test, I was ready to go out and work with as much eligibility as possible. I would also like to add that during the job search the 160 driving academy is very well-known and looked favorably upon from your new potential employers. I had the misfortune of going through his program in 2024 and it was the worst experience ever. He doesn't teach you anything of importance, rather reads off the book for hours on end and shows you straight up gore, which I understand to scare young drivers to be safe and cautious, but I fear the message was lost. He would throw fits over every little thing, harass students and call police on them over minor things. God forbid you doodle (which for some reason he hates), or you glance at your phone, but he would have his loud ringtone "TNT" blaring every five seconds, and now I literally feel dread and misery anytime I hear that song now. If you love your kid, you won't put them through this. I'm pretty sure he's banned from teaching in my town because of his crazy freak out during my class where he screamed at us, and made students so afraid and upset they called their parents and who came in to sit in, along with the owner of the building to make sure he wasn't still being crazy. I can't believe he's still teaching out there somewhere.

TMCC HS is such an amazing opportunity for local high schoolers in the Washoe County school…read moredistrict. 10th-12th grade students have an opportunity to earn college credits and even associates degrees as they work on their high school education and diplomas. The staff is amazing and the resources they offer the students seems endless. They provide tons of correspondence with parents so you don't feel out of the loop, while also encouraging students to be independent. There are many positives, and only a few negatives. You have to be willing and able to get your kids to and from school if they don't drive. No school buses going up there! Also, although you don't pay for the tuition, you still have to cover the cost of text books and course codes. However, there are scholarships and other assistance that is available. All in all, great program!
