Another iconic sight to see in Milwaukee is the Allen Bradley clock. It's considered the largest 4 sided clock in the western hemisphere by Guinness book of world records. A great landmark for Walker's point. It accurate let's the employees know they are running late or early. It's also used as a navigational aid to boaters of Lake Michigan. It's dedication was Oct 31, 1962. I'm sure they will celebrate it's 50th birthday this year, I guess. I could have scampered in from the street. They don't let people just wander on in, you may have to do a drive by check in. BTW. Rockwell automation purchased the name and is a leader in automation systems, sensors and programming. I'm sure we all know someone that works @ the worlds headquarters in Milwaukee. Come on Milwaukee Yelpers this should be Slightly more popular than an old water tower on St. Mary Hill or Bronze Fonze, Henry Winkler? (I'm ready to catch Hell for that.)

Nothing good or bad, just strange. The interior has an odd shaped atrium in the middle and the stairs leading up to the second floor seem a little short and/or shallow. Once on the second floor, you're walking on a balcony, not a true floor. The doors have tiny signs announcing what departments are inside and the departments are outdated, decor-wise, with dark wood paneling and white countertops. I like that there is a drop box attached to the building so that I can drop off my sewer bill payment rather than mail it. To be honest, I've never had a bad experience here. The people have always been courteous and friendly, and more than willing to help any time I've ever had any questions. 21/2018

I had always wondered what this place looks like inside and now have my answer. There are a few hundred staris that spiral around to the top of the light house. We weren't able to access the stairs because they were aged but it was still a neat experience to go inside.

My first real job was at Kohl's food store, which is now Outpost. I worked the bakery ;) There always were lots of hair shops here. And now those have mushroomed even more. As well, of course, as the multitude of bars and restaurants. Kinnickinnic ave is the main strip and most all things access through this street. Kinnickinnic turns into 1st St then Water St -- the main gateway to downtown. South Shore beach is home of the Frolics, a summer parade and party, a lovey farmers market and areas to take strolls, have picnics or dock your boat. The neighborhood has it's challenges at times (how many don't?) but I hope this can get corrected over time. Bay View truly is a beautiful, fun, pretty, eclectic, trendy, hipster, accepting place to be. Anything you need you'll get it here.
