I first went to the right side, which felt pretty basic. There weren't any hot food options, just pastries, fruit, and a few light snacks. The food looked a bit picked over and didn't seem especially well maintained. I didn't see an attendant walk through that section.The whole time that I was there. The coffee machines were good with plenty of choices (lattes, espresso, americanos, etc.), and the drink fridges were well stocked with sodas, juices, Red Bull, and more. There was also seating by the windows to watch the planes. Then I discovered the left side... and it was a much better experience. It's noticeably roomier with several different seating areas, including comfortable leather chairs and couches. It also felt cleaner and better maintained. The food selection was larger, with more sandwiches, pastries, salads, and snacks. While I still wasn't blown away by the food quality, it was a little better than what was offered on the right side. My advice: If you visit this lounge, skip the right side and head straight to the left. It's much more comfortable, has a better atmosphere, and offers the better food selection. Overall, it's a nice place to relax and enjoy a drink before your flight, but don't come expecting an impressive meal.

Upon arrival here, I almost didn't follow the sign to this lounge as direction to here was what I remembered from previous visits. Food and drinks availability also improved and it sure my wait at the airport much more pleasant. Free WiFi was fast enough to get some work done. Walk to the gate wasn't too bad from this lounge either. If you have a gold star alliance status, arrive early enough to check out this lounge.

This lounge at Linate Airport is a lot like Italy in general. Food is pretty decent to be a lounge…read more(nice croissants with good ham and cheese) but no hot food or anything a bit more healthy. Beverages is your standard selection of some alcohol, sodas and water but as the case most often is in Italy the coffee is terrible. Typical robusta-based roast that can be forces down with some milk. Service is appalling and in general one should expect disinterested service at best and rude at worst. Instructions for using internet are wrong (and complex) so best bet is to ask a fellow lounge visitor. Selection of non-Italian newspapers and magazines is often poor (WSJ) or non-existent. Still the lounge offers a refuge in an otherwise pretty sad airport (service-wise that is, location is its key strength) but I would never pay for access but if one has free access (frequent flyer or Priority Pass) it is still worth to enter for a snack.
