I was sprayed on a Wednesday and got married on a Saturday and had the bridal glow I was looking for. The tan slowly faded throughout my honeymoon. She cut off about 4 of the 6 inches I had and brought my sides up way to high. I cannot remember the girls name but almost all the employees are trying ti get you in and out within 15 minutes and then ask for $25 dollars. Save your hair and find a real barber; I know it can be scary at first but trust me it is not worth getting messed up.

I have what has been described as "difficult hair" because it is straight on the sides and has serious wave and body in the back. To be able to address that takes talent. A lot of younger stylists are not trained to do any styles above the shoulders as the beachy waves trend continues for decade after decade. Haircutting is becoming a lost artform. Greg is able to work with shorter hair. I have gotten many compliments, and I recommend him without reservation--although you will need a reservation to sit in his chair! He's pleasant and on point, and he is a rare find. Five stars.

She came recommended from a local make-up artist in town so I thought I was in good hands. I do not live in Memphis anymore, so I trusted the recommendation that was given to me. I booked Joni several months ago for my wedding. I also booked her to do my mother's hair the week before the wedding. She canceled my Mother's appointment 2 different times. She texted me with ridiculous excuses both times as to why she needed to reschedule my mother's appointment. The first excuse was she needed to pick up her kid from camp. The second time she canceled, she claimed she was hospitalized with a stomach issue. That should have been my first clue. I repeatedly asked her "are we still set for my wedding Saturday"? I had a large bridal party and was told by Joni she would be bringing another stylist because of the amount of people we had. I sent her several months in advance pictures of my vision board for my wedding. Confirmed with her the amount of people we had, location, schedule etc...well in advance. Fast forward to the morning of my wedding. Our first bridesmaid was scheduled to get her hair done at 9:30. I get a text message at 8:59 the DAY OF MY WEDDING from Joni saying she was in a wreck the night before. She refuses to pick up my phone calls or return any of my text messages for over an hour. She refuses to give me the contact name of the person that was working with her. She only responds to acknowledge my Venmo refund request. YES- I paid her in full with a 20% gratuity to cover myself, my 2 MOH's, grandmother, and both moms. I paid her in full the day before the wedding. She proceeds to text me back and fourth about the refund. Joni refuses to give me the assistant's name and number. What should have been the most beautiful morning of my life was completely RUINED. She never apologized. By the grace of God, we were able to find another stylist that could come to the hotel to fill in. Several of the bridal party had to go to another salon after we made several calls to try to see if anyone could take them at the last minute. The morning if my wedding...that should have been spent with my best friends and immediate members of my family, was ruined. Words can not express how upsetting this situation was. The person that saved the day, said that they worked with her at another prominent salon in Memphis. and she was fired because she was difficult to work with. That person also proceeds to tell me she was freed from another salon for stealing money. I had only wish I knew this before. I would have never booked her knowing her reputation. Look- I can not confirm that any of that is true, but what I will say is this doesn't surprise me in the least. She is unreliable. I hope she is ok. But honestly the way Joni mishandled the situation is appalling. Her lack of cooperation to provide the assistant's name, or any additional help to remedy the situation makes me believe she was not speaking truthfully. I was eventually refunded my money. But the most valuable thing Joni stole from me was time. Time to be with my best friends and family. So please beware. She is unreliable. I will NEVER get that morning back. I will make sure that my wedding planner knows this story so not another single bride they work with will have to go through with what I did. It's been 2 days since my wedding, I still do not have an apology from Joni. NOTHING.

I called up for an appointment and was told that Cecilia had an opening at 3:45 but it was already 3:48 but I was told to come in anyways. I went in with high expectations all of which were exceeded. She did an excellent job with my hair and had a meticulous attention to detail. Very personable as well, 10/10 recommend!! I have trouble with finding a stylist that can cut my thick, wavy, curly and coarse hair the way I like, but I will absolutely be visiting Antoinette again. Every time I find someone that cuts my hair well, they disappear. I get a fade and my hair can be difficult. I'd recommend Janie Moore here. All I can do is review my haircut and she did an excellent job with care. Also was able to snag a same day appointment. My guess is this isn't the norm. It's not a cheap cut, so just prepare for that and you can book appointments on their website. I know it can be hard to get a good fade in town and I can't speak to others cutting here, but I'd definitely check it out if you're looking.
