Well-qualified, patient, and helpful. Individualized tutoring can make all the difference in your success - I can see where you are hitting a snag in your progress and we can work from there. Are you an adult student independently studying mathematics, physics, or computer science to further your professional development and/or personal interest? In addition to tutoring college and high school students, I have worked with several adult students with towards their own specific educational goals, to their great satisfaction. I retired as a full professor of mathematics (Indiana University) after teaching at UCLA, UC Berkeley, and Indiana University. I returned to California and worked for years as a Software Engineer/Scientist at Apple, AutoDesk, and various biotech companies - on computer graphics, CAD, macro molecule 3D modeling, biotechnology algorithm development and machine learning, and software innovation for multivariate analysis. I have tutored and taught since I was a freshman in high school. I enjoy teaching and have put a lot of thought into how we learn. I would like to help you learn and thrive in your studies. I charge $50/hour.
