My 12 year experience with 180 medical has had a wide range of personal interface. From perfect to completely inept. I have had defective supplies sent. Partial orders sent. I have had orders arrive very late such is the most recent case. I have been double billed . I have their computer set to deliver two orders in one month. I prefer to call my orders in and for months even until now I get computer generated notices to confirm my order when it's three weeks to early and they will call with I've noticed you didn't confirm the order. One of the benefits of dealing with a large, reputable company like 180Medical.com is that the customer is assigned to a specific person, responsible for putting up with a barrage of emails from people with urethra-anxiety. I was lucky to be assigned to Alyssa, who treated me like the family I wish I had, sending me a healthy number of catheter samples with various distinct trimmings. I tried out the hydrophilic catheter, which comes with a tube of special water, which you squeeze out to lubricate the really cool equipment. After I selected a 14 Fr. Hydrophilic catheter with Coudé tips, she processed the order, having had authorization from both my physician's associate and good-old Medicare. When you see what you have to do, to insert a tube into your urethra, your hands get clammy, and your breath either increases or stops. But go ahead: you will be surprised how easy this is, unless you have a penis that is more than 16 inches long. (If I had that, I would probably take a wild chance and forgo the catheter.) If you have the mixed blessing of being a "senior citizen," glad to be alive but bitter about the side effects, you may wind up with urinary retention, which will get you to a urologist. Said doctor will start you with an indwelling catheter which, when finally withdrawn, promotes you to self-catheterize. I was reluctant to write this review because I rarely write reviews unless a company is really bad. I have read most of the negative reviews on 180 Medical. Frankly I don't know what to think. I have been using their Catheters for three years now and never had a problem. I need to use 4-6 catheters a day, and I usually get a two month supply at a time. They have never been late, the staff is always pleasant and helpful; basically I've never had a problem with 180 Medical, and they have bent over backwards trying to be helpful. read more

Monthly email notice is sent when it's time to reorder which is done with one click. Email is sent to confirm shipment w/tracking and supples are shipped/delivered promptly. Usually shipping is good however this time delivery was awful. I placed the order on 8/28/25 but did not receive it until 9/4/25. UPS had the order on 8/29/25 but they sat on it until it started to move on 9/2/25. No idea why it was not moved for 5 days. read more

At first I used to receive 180 medical supplies with a crushed box and the tape would come off. I mentioned that to a representative and every since the the boxes have been perfect. UPS & FEDEX are sometimes very rough with shipping packages. But, now that 180 medical has upgraded the packages they are fine. Thank you 180 for accommodating better packaging. read more

I needed ileostomy supplies and was a bit late in ordering them out of the hospital. I had 7 appliances from the hospital and I waited four weeks to place the order. I had a list of medical supply companies from the hospital and I went through the list. I had an ileostomy eight years ago and I recall that the customer service experience was awful. It's an S&P 500 company so a lot of people probably use it but I had to often double-check orders and sometimes they were wrong. The list of companies was three pages long and I went through the companies and used Google AI to get a summary for each company and 180 Medical was at the top of the list in customer service, online portal, getting orders right and also taking care of Medicare billing. They verified with Medicare and my surgeon and called me and I confirmed the order yesterday and most of it arrived today. I got the pouches, wafers, and Eakin Cohesive. The rest of the order arrives in a week. It's Convatec spray. I'm told that it's the same thing as Cavilon spray. I have several bottles that I ordered from Amazon while in the hospital as I knew that I'd need it. Insurance didn't cover it in the past but it looks like they cover it now. They covered only wipes in the past and I hated using them. I do appreciate them overnighting the first order as you can get a little antsy if you run out of appliances and need to do a change. I was going to order a set from Amazon in case it took a while (like a couple of weeks) and just pay out of pocket. The only downside is that they only carry Convatec. I prefer Coloplast but I'm only going to need the appliances for four months so I can manage. Taking care of insurance billing and having good customer service is a big deal for me as there are so many companies that don't do a good or complete job. read more

I've used 180 Medical for over a year now for catherters with great service. Last X-Mas I was 1500 miles from home when my supply ran out (my issue not 180's). A single call requesting help resulted in an emergency order delivered in the snow to my upstate NY doorstep in two days - from NJ. Over the last year I've changed the quantity and delivery dates with a simple call. I do find the text conformation messages a bit of a hassle, but not to the point it detracts from the great service. Getting older with the resulting changes in lifestyle can be a challenge, 180 Medical has made a smooth adjustment to this significant life complication. I waited a year before writing this review. Started using 180 medical for my catheters this September. First few orders went well but as of November. They Suck. A 30 day supply of 6 a day runs out in 30 days. I called on Oct. 29 2025 to verify my order going out on time and I was assured that I should recieve order by Nov. 4. We'll only problem is a 30 day supply runs out in 30 days and I guess 180 medical cant do simple mathematics. As of today I was told by 2 different representatives that my order will now be here on Nov. 5 and no later than the 6th of November. Total inept service. Imagine depending on a company so you can urinate each day and the order is now gonna be 6 days late. When my doctor's office reached out to them , they had no intelligent response of what happened. been a client for years seems ever since Covid the company changed how clients were assigned. There is not one person in particular handling your case you get thrown into a calol pool and every time it's time to recertify there is always a two month delay supplies. I would recommend using a different company. They are also very rude and patient to get the account taken care don't do their job to ensure they get what they need from the doctors. They ask the do it all and I spend countless frustrating hours going between the doctors office and 180 medical. I've never had to do this in the past But the last few years have been a nightmare. I have started to look for a new company. this is very sad since most of the people who order medical supplies are disabled and on fixed income this is not acceptable. read more

180 Medical is a joke. My husband switched to them after the company he used for years was bought out and hoped their service would be better. On his third order, they sent him only half of the specific DME he uses, and the other half was something completely different that did not work. He contacted them immediately upon discovering the issue and was told they would "next day air" his supplies to him. It's been a week and he still has yet to receive the order. Their customer service keeps claiming that "it will arrive on time" - on time was 6 days ago. Used this 'company' for almost five years, very good at first, but this last year they have screwed up my acct, and left me WITHOUT ANY SUPPLY TWICE NOW! I looked back on yelp, found the last year had 12 good, AND ALSO HAD 10 POOR/BAD reviews! This USED TO BE a good company, now they just suck. They 'farm' for good reviews, so the fact they have 40% Poor/Bad is a huge RED FLAG! Best to find a company that actually cares about their customers, this one clearly does not. Ever since the first of the year(2024) 180 Medical services have gone down hill in service and efficiency. My monthly orders have been shipped later and later each month causing me to have a shortage of necessary supplies every month. They have compensated me by sending out 10 extra samples once this year, yet I am still short in the current month. I don't believe this is the shipping company's problem, but rather within the company policy of handling orders. I understand that the insurance company only allows a certain amount for a month, but 180 Medical is not handling my on-going order efficiently. I should not have to contact you every month to find out when my supplies will arrive. My monthly order used to arrive on the first of the month, but that is not the procedure any more.
