I bought a Vuse device from this store, took it home and followed the directions. The device charged an initial time, worked for about 15 minutes, then stopped working and wouldn't charge anymore. I wasn't too shocked at this, as this had happened to me previously when I bought a Vuse device from the Beaches 180Smoke. That time, I returned the device, explained what happened and was immediately offered a replacement free of charge. The Yonge St location gets a 1-star review for refusing to do the same because I had discarded the packaging (why would I keep this??). This wasn't an issue for Beaches location, not sure why it was here but FYI, Yonge St store: 180Smoke sends mailer list emails to us members stating that they do provide refunds in these scenarios - no mention of any package requirements. I've gone back and forth for several emails with customer service. Keep filling out forms, emailing, more forms, and saying I just want to return. Now they're insisting to send another. During COVID they advise during checkout that there could be a delay with your Canada post shipment. My order shipped immediately but has been with Canada post for three weeks. They should be advising that the shipment will take weeks to arrive rather than days. It's inconceivable that they do not know this; they must be getting 50 complaints a day about the speed of their shipping service. read more

Three friends and I went together to grab four e-cigs after finding out about 180 Smoke. Our hope was to but back on smoking (we'd tried gum, but were still buying cigarettes in between.) For the last two weeks, we've quit smoking and have switched entirely over to e-cigarettes. We've been enjoying them because we can puff in the house while watching TV and it doesn't stink up the room. We've already picked up a variety of flavours to test out, and are happy with the great service we get there. Four of us stopped smoking and are already feeling better, we've skipped having to smoke outside during the last two weeks of winter, and have already saved money from buying cigarettes and cigars. I just love this place and the owners are so generous with information. I have been trying to quit smoking for years and finally decided to try electronic cigarettes. I went into their office and asked for suggestions because I really did not know where to start. They gave me tons of information on the benefits of quitting nicotine and how to gt it out of your system. I ended up getting the starter kit and I have been smoke-free for three weeks now. The service was quick, knowledgeable, and friendly, and is the only reason I'm giving them 3 stars. I've had terrible luck with their juices, though. When I've vaped the "tester" flavors in store (which don't contain nicotine) they tasted fine - not great, but tolerable. They didn't have a huge assortment of flavors, but there was enough. When vaping the juice in my own ecigarette, however, the purchased ejuice tastes VILE. There's a horrible greasy petroleum/mineral oil undertone that leaves an aftertaste, and I've literally gagged after vaping. I really don't understand it - I've purchased juice from many other stores and never had this issue; I have this issue even after cleaning my tank and using a new coil; I'm using a reasonably decent-quality vaporizer (a KangerTech E-vod with a mini Protank); and finally, I've purchased juice from them on two separate occasions and both times it tasted okay (not great, but okay) in store and horrible in my vaporizer! The only thing I can think of at the moment is that the nicotine is creating the horrible flavor, as the tester flavors don't have nicotine, and the purchased flavors generally do. In future I'll continue to buy coils from them if I'm in the neighborhood, but I will never ever ever buy juice from them again. Seriously, I'm bought three bottles of juice from them last week and I'm going to have to throw them away. read more

On a recommendation of a co-worker, I checked this place out. I have a good friend and teammate that I have been trying to help quit for 2 years now. The staff at the store was extremely helpful and knew there stuff, even though I didn't really do a lot of research before I came in. I ended up sending my friend in to check our their e-cigarettes and she bought the 180 brand. So far so good and I don't have to be around her second hand smoke! They are the kind of place that feels the need to brand everything like they're the ones who invented vaping, which is always funny. If you come during the day there are some women on staff who are actually nice and helpful. I recently visited the yonge and bloor location and i am very pleased with my choice I tried to go to a few other locations but i was not very impressed with the storefronts (most were in strange looking second floor areas) and i was not convinced that e cigarettes were a good solution The people at 180 smoke showed me everything about the product and how to use it and maintain it. Plus, compared to other stores, they let you know exactly what's in their liquid and will answer any questions you may have about it's contents with confidence. I baught a mod online at 180smoke.com and yes i did buy 2 batteries and some juice came with. 2 of the bottles had leaked (okay, maybe that can be blamed on post canada, who knows) but they forgot to include the 2 batteries. I contact them, they ask for info, go back and forth with them, ending up in the guy telling me he will send me the batteries. I never receive them!!!!! I contact them again and no response. Stay away unless you dont have a choice IMO. read more

Waited 10 mins without any "I'll be with you in a minute" courtesy . Their products are ridiculously overpriced. $100 for 2 cloudmakers when you can get 2 of them for $30 elsewhere? $8 for 10ml of e-juice when you can get 50ml for $9? $20 for flavoring when can get the same amount for TWO FUCKING DOLLARS?!?!?! Deceptive Sales Practices - These people will lie to you to sell you their products I called their store to make sure they had a specific box mod in stock, the guy said that they had one left and set it aside for me. When I got to the store, the package was open. They said that the packages were normally open, but that it was new. When I inspected it, the mod showed signs of use. Worse, the battery that was supposed to be included was missing. They said that this varies per store, and that the website even indicates "batteries not included". We checked the website and the other guy said "it does say the battery was included". They then proceeded to explain how the online store was completely different, and that I should buy this one because it was their last one and they weren't sure when they were going to get another one in stock. When I asked about other mods that came with a battery, every single one they took out was sealed. They should have just said that they had an open-box mod that didn't include the battery. That was the last time I'm going to buy from their store. Buy from them at your own risk. read more

I purchased the red star tobacco flavor and used it in my aspire Nautilus. Not only was the flavor awful but it ruined my clearomiser because I could not use any other e juice without tasting the red star. This was the case even after washing it 5 times.
