I've started to get familiar with the food scene in this sleepy town, and I just keep hitting home runs! This restaurant is fast-casual style, but they are smart enough to serve alcohol to appease those looking for a more restaurant-like experience. My date and I both tried the carnitas burrito, smothered in cheese thankyouverymuch. I also had a mango margarita on the rocks, but it was a tough call because I've never seen a longer list of margarita options! It was a cute touch that they topped it with fresh mango pieces and a touch of chili powder. The burrito was, to put it plainly, heaven. The flavors mixed so well together and the carnitas was so tender. Part of us was wishing we just split one, but we were selfishly glad for the leftovers later! This adorable little place hits all the marks from price to variety to extra friendly service. I can't wait to come back and try something else.

I had high hopes for this restaurant as I received a recommendation from a local about how fantastic it was. When I arrived, the place was packed. I ordered a carna asada burrito and a Carnitas taco. Pretty simple right? Anybody who's been in the south west area of the country knows these are staples. Let me start with the taco. The two corn tortillas were raw, I think they have been heated up but they were still rubbery and that raw taste. The Carnitas meat, had absolutely zero flavor and was room temperature. As far as the Brito, the rice was severely under cooked so it's kind of crunchy, either the beans or the meat were severely salty and they added some sort of shredded cheese inside the burrito and obviously the meat and beans were not up to temperature because the cheese didn't even melt The meat on the taco was also room temperature. It's somewhat scary receiving meet at room temperature, that's a great way to Harbor and faster bacteria. I'm fully expecting to get sick later on. As someone who lived in California for 20 years, who knows good Mexican food, I would highly recommend you skip this place and go straight to Taco Bell. I promise it will be cleaner, tastier and less expensive..

I do not understand how Taco Johns can still be in business with this gem in town. The pork carnitas are so tender and full of flavor. Rice is fluffy, the beans NOT overcooked, tortilla is meaningfully tasty, and the house sauces and chips are all on-point, fresh, and delicious. Front of house treatment was incredibly friendly - my wife and I felt instantly at home, and the gentleman taking our orders (who I presume is the owner) treated us like regulars, even though we are just passers-by from Chicago. There are only two things I found myself wanting. 1. Horchata. Horchata should absolutely be an ice flavor and a featured beverage. 2. I'd love to see a signature dish or rotating special entree. Your food is so good, and it would be easy to sit on it and claim victory. Push my taste buds, show me what else you know. Thank you for the wonderful. With any luck we'll get one more shot of this on our way back through.

Excellent street-style tacos! There are seven varieties to choose from, but I went with a pork carnitas, a carne asada and a fish taco. Each one was absolutely delicious. Honestly, I cannot decide which one I liked best. It might take you a couple trips to 1910 to decide for yourself . . . pretty sure it'll be worth it to you. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly. What more could you want?!?

An excellent menu with savory food. Chicken street tacos were generously made and well seasoned but not overly salty or spicy. Rice and beans added for $1.99. Very reasonably priced food. Staff was very friendly, explained the menu and condiments and was available to the customers. Restaurant was well lit, spacious, and inviting. A fresh remodel with a contemporary feel. Because it is a small shop, it may not accommodate large groups but there is a space in the back for 8-10 people. Putting this on my return soon list!

Great service, we appreciated the owner heartily welcoming us through the door. Started off on the right foot and it just kept getting better. Fresh, tasty ingredients, absolutely the best refried beans I've had in more than a decade. Loved my chicken burrito, my wife loved her chicken bowl, my little one balked at the little bit of spice in her quesadilla, perhaps the cheese was pepper jack. She still ate almost the entire thing. To put a cherry on it, they brought to the table two outstanding craft beers, Elysian Spacedust, to our table and they were ice-cold - perfect. I don't often gush over a place, but this owner has covered every aspect of the dining experience. Friendly, competent staff, amazingly fresh and delicious food, great craft beers, clean and well appointed decor. Definitely in the running for top 3 restaurants in 2019.
