While Dr. Palmer might be a great surgeon, his support staff could use a lesson or two, or three in how to work with patients. Exceptionally hard time getting calls back in a timely manner, as well as getting pain meds for hip pain awaiting a hip replacement that should never have taken as long as it did to complete. Could not be trusted to handle FMLA nor long term disability paperwork in a timely manner. The head nurse that was assigned to us should absolutely be ashamed for her very clear indifference to the situation. My mother almost completely lost her ability to walk while waiting for her operation. No sense of urgency or priority for her despite her debilitating pain.
