I hired Jeff to train a team of approximately 10 of our employees. Communication prior and the actual training was excellent - everything went smoothly as anticipated and Jeff was a pleasure to work with. Our facility is safer and better off because of it! I'm an EH&S guy and poked and prodded Jeff on some off topic stuff as well. He had some great feedback regarding some of my general safety concerns around our facility. We're a Fortune 500 technology company and will be calling on 1st Response Safety again when the time comes. read more

Specialties

1st Response Safety specializes in providing quality training on-site at your location or in our training center. Our instructors are trained professionals who have years of Fire Department and EMS experience. Our American Heart Association CPR and First Aid courses are easy to understand and provide students with plenty of opportunity for hands on experience. For Healthcare Providers, we provide BLS, ACLS and PALS courses at our facility or yours. Our Fire Safety Courses meet the requirement for the State of Georgia Care Provider Fire Safety Certification and incorporate many interactive scenarios. We also provide workplace safety training that meets NFPA, OSHA and other standards for Fire Extinguishers, Floor Warden, and Emergency Action Plans.

History

Established in 2005.

As a firefighter and Paramedic, I had the abillity to provide quality CPR and First Aid training to individuals and companies in need. We have since branched out to provide consulting and training in fire safety, workplace safety and other emergency training serevices.

Meet the Business Owner: Jeff F.

Jeff is a career Fire Officer and Paramedic with over 17 years of service in the Fire Service and EMS. He is currently an Assistant Fire Marshal with a Metro Atlanta Fire Department. Jeff holds a Master's degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University and is nationally certified as a Nationally Registered Paramedic, Fire Protection Specialist, AHA CPR, ACLS and PALS instructor and a public fire safety educator.
