My wife and designer wanted LVP flooring only (we needed waterproof flooring because of pets) and dealt with Barbara. They picked out a color and the price was good (we even got a cash discount). We purchased in March 2025 and they knew we were not starting the remodel until August and agreed to hold the 2 pallets of flooring. A few weeks later we were told that we had to take the flooring because they were moving locations and wouldn't have storage space. We were able to pick it up and store it. She also told us that she thought that it came with a backing/barrier, but it did not. She was going to sell us the backing separately "at cost'" but our GC told us he would take care of it. We came to find out that LVP usually (if not always had a backing for quality installation and that laminate often does not. When we finally got to the install (we had our own GC and installers) they told us it was not waterproof, but water-resistant, and was not LVP, but was laminate. My designer spoke with Barbara who told us that what we received was waterproof, even though it says different "Water Resistant" on the boxes. She refused to take them back (even with a 35% restocking fee) and told us she didn't even sell LVP. We found an amazing flooring site that was able to come to the house, provide samples, give pricing, and produced amazing waterproof LVP for about the same price as the laminate. *******Only because of the poor service and terrible customer care, if you want the contact information for a much better flooring store, leave a review and I will post something on this site.

Quoted $300-$350. They arrived, then told my husband -- who had no part in negotiating the price -- it was now $400. He hadn't been told wrapping was even part of the deal, so he had no way to catch the switch. The whole job took **7 minutes**. Nothing was wrapped: not the stairs, not the walls, not the floors, not the shades, not the sauna panels. Pieces were dumped unprotected on our bamboo floor against an electric shade, which then knocked panels over and damaged them. When we complained, SEUD told Thumbtack that my husband was the one who agreed to skip wrapping and unpack the boxes instead "to safely navigate the narrow staircase." That's false, and we have the recorded call proving the wrapping commitment was made before anyone arrived -- my husband wasn't even part of that conversation. Thumbtack's response was to ask us for an itemized invoice or written estimate to "verify" the discrepancy, as if a verbal bait-and-switch confirmed on tape isn't verification enough. Thumbtack recommended this company to us directly, one of only three options with no way to browse others, dressed up with 500 reviews and a 4.9 rating. The crew leader, Saint Louis (SL), agreed and assured us we could supervise what went into the truck. But from the start, tools kept getting taken, and we had to repeatedly ask for them back. SL's attitude shifted quickly--he began yelling, "Why call a junk company if you don't want everything junked?" He also pressured me to go to an ATM instead of accepting digital payment for a multi-day job. I was so upset I called Melanie, who agreed to come to the site. Then it got worse. Expensive tools--like a floor jack and brand-new bolt cutters--went missing. When we asked about them, the crew retrieved them from the truck. Clearly, they knew what they were and where they were stored. A purse was also taken from a table near the door (clearly not junk) and only recovered because it had a phone inside that we could call. Damien and Michelle, two other managers, later apologized and admitted this shouldn't have happened. Following a heated argument between SL and my father-in-law about the repeated issues and payment, we ended the job early. Melanie returned, and we paid for the work already done.
