Took my grandson for breakfast Saturday morning. I ordered an omelet. It was huge and loaded with ham cheese peppers and onions. You pick what you want in it from the list of ingredients. It came with 3 hash brown patty's that were nice and Crispy. My grandson enjoyed the kids French toast and scrambled eggs and a delicious strawberry shake. Great food and service. Our second time was no disappointment! Someone had mentioned a mushroom salsa and I knew I had to try it. Omg. You need this in your life. A solid mix of mushrooms and pico de gallo. Amazing is the only word that fits. Im a pescatarian so their menu is somewhat limited for me. This time I tried to avocado tostada with shrimp added. It was delicious, but next time I'd ask for the sour cream on the side. Im not a huge sour cream fan and it came loaded with it. Once I'd removed most of it, the salad was legit, the shrimp well seasoned and the beans were super good. My husband had the chili rellano trio and his chili's was hands down the best I've ever tasted. That's what I'm ordering next time - just the chili rellano. It was that good. Those still commenting about the heavy salt just need to get used to properlyseasoned Mexican food. Absolutely abhorrent, my grandmother had the chimichangas and there was American cheese on them that was already cold and it looked like plastic. Service was lackluster and staff seemed to not care more about the customers at the bar than anyone in the tables. Ambiance was awful, with a can of RAID and mouse traps in clear view under the sink. Where is the 6th star? No, this is not a Michelin star restaurant. Given the location it's far superior to local competition. Being newly renovated you cannot ask for a cleaner establishment. The food was great. Not bland so likely why some complained about being "salty". Pours were second to none and those chips. Oh those chips... backed with spicy salsa I am in heaven. One word- yum. Cute little restaurant that's dressed to the nines in themed decor. The portions here are pretty big, so it's great for the price. The only downside I've had so far is that, as others have mentioned, is that most of the food here seems oddly heavy on the salt. The alcoholic drinks my family ordered were a little strong as well. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to give a 2 or a 3, ideally I'd give a 2.5 but the service was great so I went with a 3. Don't get me wrong, the drinks are great- I got a skinny jalapeño mango margarita and it was delicious! I had one on the rocks and one blended, they were both great but I'd probably stick to on the rocks next time. The food wasn't bad, I am extremely picky with my Mexican food. I ordered the shredded chicken macho burrito, there wasn't too much flavor to it but everything was very fresh. The service staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The restaurant was pretty empty so the ambiance was very nice as well. Side note- I wasn't too sure about the mushroom salsa but to my surprise, it was very tasty! Their red salsa is a bit too watery than I prefer but did have some nice flavor to it! read more

Myself & co-worker stopped in for lunch. 2 servers, polite, only 3 tables. Not impressed with meal. 3 mid sized soft tacos. Chicken filling. Chicken was very dry. Tacos were placed on top of refried beans. So, Couldn't pick up the tacos, had to use a fork. They went overboard on cilantro, so much that it overpowered everything else. 2 Margaritas just opened their 3rd location in Lakebay WA, they did a fantastic job remodeling the place inside and out. The food is amazing, great selection of items as well as a full bar!! Fair priced for the portions and good strong drinks! We came on their second night after opening it was very busy and we had to wait some time. It was worth it!! AMAZING. We'll be securing our table here at least once per week. The setting is lovely, service is quick, friendly and not in your face. The food.... Every single thing was better than anything I've had. Mexican is usually good enough but we're here for the chips and salsa. They have upped the game. Salsa, bean dip, MUSHROOM SALSA. Parking lot was FULL, and I was worried we would have a wait. Nope instantly sat and chips, salsa and refried beans for dipping were delivered. Order taken and soon two fruit smoothies, one strawberry/banana and one peach were there. Soon my wife's seafood enchiladas and my chicken Macho Burrito arrived. 1/2 of each went home in a to go container for the servings were very generous! Wife liked her enchiladas a lot but felt it was "heavy" with the cream and cheese sauce. The burrito was tasty but slightly overwhelmed by the lettuce topping. We definitely will go again. We are so relieved to finally have a new place to dine again in Home, Lakebay, WA. The wait was worth it, yes we need a 6th star for 2 Margaritas. The food was incredible, no runny refried beans there, no siree! Seasonings were great. Lucky me and husband with no food restriction there is plenty to choose from! My cocktail was just right served in this huge heavy duty glass. The decor is so cheerful even a gloomy rainy day will lift anyone's spirit there. Chairs and tables were made by a Mexican artisan per our server, not one is the same, beautiful work. If this keeps up we will need reservations next time. :) read more

6 people that I know have tried the food here and the consensus was the food was too salty! Tasty, but salty. I can add salt if I need to, but removing salt is nearly impossible. To me the food was inedible. Just wanted to give an honest review for my first visit. The place looks great inside. The staff as far as the waiting staff was good. I asked two different people for a paper feedback form and I don't think they knew what I was talking about. My wife had two soft chicken tacos rice and beans. She said if she was to rate it from 1-10 it was about a 5. I had two enchiladas rice and beans. If I was to rate it I would give it a 2. We live near the place and have been there 3-4 times. The food is good except for the salsa and the beans. I AM MEXICAN and someone needs to give the owners a lesson on how to make refried beans. They're dark, thin and have a weird smoky flavor. You're supposed to re-fry beans in lard or bacon grease to give them flavor and they are supposed to be very light brown. I use bacon grease and they're the most delicious beans you've ever tasted. Now as for the salsa. It's 90% water, tasteless and doesn't have any solids. Man these people need lessons! I don't belong to Facebook but I've had a few people tell me that these are the same problems that are voiced on Facebook. Just order a plate that doesn't come with beans and you'll be ok. We were watched from the parking lot and ushered to our table as we came in. It would have seemed like great service if not for the rushed feeling the entire time. We got no chip refills and had to ask twice for a coke refill and water. The restaurant is small, very few tables to tend. The 6 of us were planning to have a nice family dinner that we rarely get together for. We felt uncomfortable asking for dessert because boxes were brought and waiters seemed to be standing around, waiting on us but not waiting on us.. we ordered three desserts just to give them a sign to pump the brakes on rushing us out. We tried to enjoy the slop of food that was put in front of us. Nacho beef was paste like. Salsa tasted like ketchup. Fly buzzing around the entire time. Margaritas were luckily strong. read more

We loved the food and the service. We've eaten at their location in Allyn, but his is closer to home. Took our nephew and fiance to dinner. It was excellent. The staff is friendly and fast and eager. Loved the service. The food is plentiful and wonderfully seasoned. I had the fish tacos, my wife had crab. Incredible. More than enough to take home several meals. We also ordered a side of the incredible mushroom salsa to take home. It is obvious by how packed it was and how many people were coming in to pick up takeout that it is VERY popular in the area. We have eaten there several times. I think this is the only place I want to eat at for a while. But there is a reason it's called 2 Margaritas. first the glasses are large and it's like getting a double. that being said our limit is 2 Margaritas. You know this is a great place when my husband who turned 75 had 2 drinks and the buss staff followed us out to the car to make sure everything was safe. That's service. Besides, I loved everything I've eaten so far. the Chili Rellenos are made with whipped egg whites. Taco salads are heavy on the meat, seasoned to perfection, and the Chicken Ceasar Salad is so perfect. each piece of romaine is coated. but no dressing pooled on the bottom. My husband does not like spicy, so the burger or chicken burger are perfect for him, and the fries are out of this world. The ambiance makes me want to make my reservation for Nov 1 and 2 to celebrate the Day of the Dead. Only down side is that they need some lavender, mint or Rosemary hanging plants to keep the flies away. once that's fixed it will be perfect. read more
