This place deserves 5 stars and I'll tell you why - it's a Friday night at 8:15 and NOTHING AROYND IS OPEN FOR DINNER. We were grateful that they were open, and oromptly ordered margaritas in relief. Extra shot in mine, thank you. The waitress was very friendly and very efficient. Margaritas in 4 minutes, dinner in 12. The food was pretty good except the chili relleno tasted a bit like the frying oil needed to be refreshes - but still pretty good, and we were grateful for an open restaurant ... on a Friday night?! Thank you El Pueblito for a local meal on our 1 night stay in a town that rolls up the sidewalks at 8! You saved us!

Good authentic Mexican food!! All portions are enough to take home and have left overs. The fajita homemade season has great flavors, Steak did not disappoint, and my fiancé loved the burrito. You have to try their salsa and coleslaw!

Cute restaurant in Gig Harbor, right on Main Street (Harborview Drive actually). My husband ordered chicken enchiladas, chicken taco, beans & rice. He said everything was alright. I thought rice & beans were good. I had a spicy cheese chile relleno & it was the best part. I loved it! The chicken taco needed salt. The salsa & chips weren't very good, very watery & not very tasty.

Stopped in for lunch while visiting Gig Harbor. It was still early in the day, so it wasn't too busy. I really liked the decor. Service and food were good. Price was reasonable. For good Mexican food, I recommend it

We stopped in on a Wednesday night because we ended up with an educator discount card (daughter) and her fellow librarian apparently knows the Lopez family. We were seated immediately and drinks were delivered very promptly. The place is super colorful and fun looking. The menu is pretty extensive but we did have to order two large combos to activate our discount. Challenge accepted! We ordered some crab enchiladas, a chicken chimichanga, and the three amigas. Portions are HUGE (hands for scale). The food was the temperature of lava. We enjoyed all three dishes: the beef was clearly slow cooked, the pork was obviously cooked with some chiles, and the crab was "REAL" as advertised. The beans were tasty and we certainly didn't leave hungry. Our server was fantastic and friendly.

Always my favorite Mexican food experience. And having spent significant time in Mazatlan I can fairly say this is just as good as anything I ate down there. Service is always with a smile and always a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

    Chips, salsa and kinda salsa.

This is our favorite place for Mexican food. Fresh ingredients. Hot chips. Local, hometown colorful atmosphere right across from the harbor.

Great food and service. My kids loved it. The complimentary chips and salsa were so good. I also enjoyed their virgin strawberry daiquiri.

And shoutout to our waiter who kept came back and checked on us. From the warm welcome at the door to our cozy seats by the fireplace. It was perfect for a rainy day. everything felt comfortable and inviting. The portions were generous, and the warm nachos paired with that slightly spicy, chilled salsa were so good. I had the chicken fajitas and my daughter went with a cheeseburger. Most of all, it was just really nice spending that quality time together. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try out.

So when I had the chance to go here, and was craving Mexican, here we went. The service was a bit weird. I personally don't like being served by multiple people. Some places do this. Not very many. It seemed like everything we ordered or asked for was brought by a different person. And everything came out separately, piece meal, which was a bit weird. My drink, for example, came out many minutes after my friend's drink. It would seem natural to make and deliver those together. The ambience is fine, the fireplaces are always welcome and a fun vibe. Our server was very fast and attentive (our actual server lol). The food. The nachos are extravagant. The mole is FABULOUS.

Little salsa bar, Coke drinks, huge flavorful portions will make you happy that you visited. I ordered the birria, and although I wished for more consommé, I think if you ask they would have given it. The burrito is epic. Overall so happy to have gone and enjoyed it!

We had adobada, asada and chicken tacos, added a side of fried onion and serrano pepper. The adobada meat was ok, chicken was good and our favorite was the asada. I didn't like the default salsa they put on the tacos, would've preferred just onion and cilantro. In fact I didn't like any of the salsas they offered, the green salsa was the only decent one and I'm sure the orange looking salsa was on its way out, it tasted and smelled funky. Customer service was great. We might come back just for asada tacos but maybe not.

The aroma alone is enough to make your mouth water, but the real magic starts when you take that first bite. I ordered the carne asada, al pastor, and birria tacos, and honestly, I can't choose a favorite--they were *all* incredible. The meats were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The tortillas? Fresh, warm, and slightly charred in the best way. And don't even get me started on the salsas--house-made, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. What really impressed me, though, was the attention to detail. Everything tasted like it was made with pride and love. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices are more than fair for the quality you're getting. Bottom line: this taco truck isn't just good--it's a hidden gem. Run, don't walk.
