They…read morecalled us this last week to confirm and also let us know that they didn't have the 26ft we booked a month previously. uThe reservation specifically stated 24/7 pickup. The lady even said this when they confirmed since this establishment would be closed. When the 26th came around and we drove 1 hour to pick up the Uhaul and start moving out of Tifton, we got to Walker rentals and the truck was NOT staged for 24/7 pickup. of the 2 different numbers none were answered so we just left a message and got No response up to and including 3 days later. (Still no response from Walker Automotive.) We called Uhaul and they said there was nothing they could do for us and that there was nothing within a 10 mile radius. When the nation wide scheduling (wherever it is) opened at 9am we called them and luckily the woman found one within 2 miles (how the guy missed it the first call is beyond me) but this cost us 2 hours wasted and even more money in gas and mileage since the truck we ended up picking up was BONE EMPTY. that 2 hours while it may not seem like a lot of time, it is when you have your day planned out and and you also have help scheduled to help us when we got back to Valdosta , and who couldn't stay later so they weren't able to help much. 3 days later and we still haven't heard a peep from walker rental/automotive and the Uhaul Guarantee ....... please.. that's bullshit.. They lazy fuckers haven't bothered to call , apologize, nothing. Stay away from this business.

They will leave notes on your door or come bother you in the evening while you are trying to relax about trivial things they don't like about the site that you have payed for. The owner was the county tax commissioner and seems to think himself better than everyone else. His wife's attitude may be even worse! I deleted my last review because I was active duty military and Rodney Cain (owner) threatened to contact my command and claim my statements were libelous. Some southern gentlemen, and surely a patriot! The Cains are a close minded and might I say even more so, simple minded bunch. I would try Cecil Bay just up the road! Cecil Bay had the frendliest and most helpful staff and campers. I'd rather burn money as to spend it at Cains Creekside!

The bath house and laundry facilities were also clean and we could see staff working hard every day to maintain the property. The owners are the best, they treated us very well and it's nice to know there are still decent and caring people in this world. We needed a place to stay during the evacuation from Hurricane Milton in Florida and they had one site left. The owner wouldn't take payment until we arrived but promised he would hold the site for us. He even called us while we were driving to check in and make sure we were not having any issues. He has an employee that lives on site and she came over as soon as we pulled in to see if we needed any help. We enjoyed it so much, we stayed two nights. Most of the people staying there were Florida evacuees so the owner called his church and they made dinner for everyone (unfortunately we missed it, we arrived too late, but who does that). Keith (the owner), we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you are one of a kind. We will definitely make an effort to return in the future.

The soon-to-be hosts have a 10 year old son, Jeremya, that gave us a tour of the woodworking area and was so knowledgeable. He was a cool kid and we enjoyed him. There are several permanent residents and they put on a big Thanksgiving spread in which we were invited to join them. We had plans for the day but when we returned to the campground early that evening, we were again invited to join them for leftovers and dessert. We enjoyed visiting with them and the food. The bathhouse was kept clean and the campground was quiet. This seems to be a nice welcoming community of people.
