In July 2015 I hired Tyrone to do some work in my flat and he did a fantastic job for a fair price. I recently hired him again and I am sad to day that his quality, manner and reliability has entirely evaporated. I asked him to come to look at a leak in my kitchen and to fix two toilets that had the same problem another toilet in the flat had, which he originally fixed. He turned up about four hours after he said he would be there and without one of the parts he required to do all the jobs I asked him to do (in writing by text). He then installed the part in one of the toilets in such a way that the tank no longer fills up as the new part prevents the float from going down. For the kitchen sink leak he only tightened one plastic bolt and saying that was the only problem. The leak began again soon after. When I called him to ask him to come back, he said he no longer worked as part of a team and so could not come back any time soon. I work during the day, and though when he came over last year he was happy to come over early in the morning or late or over the weekend, he said he 'didn't do that anymore. The thing that annoyed me more than anything else was that he did not, during a long conversation on the phone (where he suggested I call in sick at work so I could stay at home) or in a long text conversation, apologise for the shoddy work he did. I would NEVER suggest Tyrone to anyone and hope you get a better plumber. read more
