They keep the other areas of my home clean, moved my furniture and put it back and even offered to put my pictures back up! Communications were clear from start to finish and they helped me with my homeowner's claim and follow up with the insurer to get maximum amount covered. The first one was rainwater coming in through the roof down the inside walls of an upstairs and downstairs bedroom causing mold that had to be removed and flooring & drywall that had to be replaced. Cole Borgeson handled everything with my insurance company to get the project started on the first job providing accurate quotes for the repairs. The second job was an unexpected pipe leak inside the wall on the stairway on New Year's day. This time I called my insurance company (USAA) to request again that they use Rockefellers for the repairs as I had such wonderful service from their subcontractors Daniel Rodriquez (Homestar painting) and Tim Gallegos (Tim's Flooring Covering) that I wanted to have the same crew again. On both Projects the Project Manager's (Christopher on the first job) and Sarvar (on the second job) assigned were great and very professional. At each phase of the job that took place they were there to supervise that the work was being completed. If I had any suggestions or questions they were immediately helpful. I love the outcome of both bedrooms especially replacing the carpet in one room with flooring. And, the wall repair on the stairs we changed the color from white to a sand color which accent the wall beautifully that you notice right away when walking into the house. More concerning than delays was the lack of professionalism and ownership. Instead of addressing issues directly, there was a pattern of deflection and minimal effort to correct problems. When you're already dealing with a stressful situation that requires restoration services, the last thing you need is a company that adds to that stress rather than alleviating it. Additionally, there were serious concerns regarding billing practices. American Restoration billed insurance for work and materials that, to my knowledge and direct observation, were never completed or provided. When these discrepancies were raised, they were not meaningfully addressed. To conclude, every subcontractor used was incompetent and required multiple redo attempts. In several instances, I was left to either correct the work myself or accept substandard results just to move forward and avoid further delays and complications. Even more troubling, the project left lasting issues for my family and home that remain unresolved. When these concerns were brought forward, they were dismissed and attributed to "scope of work," rather than being properly evaluated and corrected. This is not a minor inconvenience type of review--this is a warning. If you value your time, your money, and your peace of mind, you should strongly consider going with literally anyone else. There are plenty of companies that will treat your situation with the urgency, transparency, and professionalism it deserves. This was not one of them. November 20 2025 my bricked in mailbox and front shrubs were destroyed by a drunk driver. Upon…read morecontacting my insurance company I was informed that Belfor restoration was their direct repair company. Taking this as a recommendation I contacted them for repairs. First attempt involved a terrible job that included the brick layer hiding scrap brick on the side of my house and washing out his mud bucket used for mixing cement on my back patio and washing blobs of cement into some ground cover. I contacted them and someone was sent out to clean it as best they could. The job was terrible looked like hell with cement smeared on the outside of the structure bricks misaligned and huge gaps. I contacted the general manager and she came out and looked at the job agreeing that it was "unacceptable", a second attempt was made where the workman tried to rebuild it. He ran out of bricks stating he would be back the next day to finish. Several days later he returned and completed the top of the structure then wrapped the structure to prevent freezing. After the required wait I unwrapped the job to discover that it had been completed with the wrong color. I then discovered that the rebar that was supposed to reinforce it was instead hidden in a large juniper. I contacted the general manager again explained the situation and said the job was not acceptable. She contacted me back stating they wanted to do an "acid wash" to try and blend the colors and remove the excess cement that had been once again left smeared on the outside. I replied acid washing was a cleaning process used in restoring color to existing work and would not resolve the structural deficiency caused by the missing rebar which had been part of the original structure. Since then I have been stone walled with no communication although my insurance company has spoken with them several times and received promises that the would be done in two weeks. This has been repeated several times with nothing being done. After eight months of trying to get a job done thirty six e mails and countless phone calls I can only conclude that Belfor restoration has no interest in doing the job properly and in my opinion are a bunch of crooks. For anyone that would like to be cheated, mistreated and abused I would recommend them in a minute. Thirty six e mails numerous phone calls and eight months later I have the worst looking crap mailbox in the neighborhood. Thank you, Mark Mellone

Everything else was in totes. As they were moving our stuff around, they broke an antique lamp that was my stepmoms after she passed, dumped a totes of family pictures on the wet carpet and instead of picking them up, they left them on the wet carpet and stacked stuff on top of them. Set stuff on top of the laptop. That's just things we could see wrong. We're still not back in apartment. This company gets help from a temp service that hires Hispanics that DON'T speak any English. It's bad enough we're displaced because of the water main break but to have strangers in our home moving our stuff with NO respect just makes it worse. On site manager told us to take pictures and file a claim with our renters insurance with the stuff they broke. WOW just WOW. How can you give this company a star for ratings? In order to post this review, it requires at least one star but really it's not.
