Wifi has never been good in my house, and in the past year or so, it has become almost impossible to have a video call without the all consistently dropping. I had to take action to fix the problem, as I work from home, so I called 247 HiTek, not knowing what to expect. I am amazed by the great quality of 247 HiTek's services, and even more amazed by the results. I called 247 HiTek and spoke with Jose on a Thursday. After I explained the problem, Jose scheduled a meeting with me for the following day so he could assess my house and what we could do to fix my Wifi issues. Jose was on time, and he gave me a reasonable quote. We scheduled the service for a week later. During the week leading up to the service, Jose provided great communication. He and his apprentice arrived at the scheduled time and performed the service in about 4 hours. I won't get into the details of what we had done, but my house now has functional Wifi and we have not had a single buffering issue with streaming or a single dropped Zoom call in the two weeks since we had the work performed. I bought a full Ring system for my daughter but needed someone to install it as I am not local. 247 HiTek responded quickly and scheduled an estimate. The estimate was reasonable - the range I expected and they were able to start that day and got it done. What exceeded expectations was the level of installation, they actually mounted cameras and keypads without taking any shortcuts but actually fished some power cords throught the wall, etc. I didn't even expect for that pricing to get that level of install so was very pleased. They were efficient and very thorough for example ensuring all the camera batteries were charged. They also were knowledgable about the systems. Very (very) minor issue is the ring smoke alarm listening device was mounted a bit far from the smoke detector and I think they should be a few inches apart. But that was pretty minor. The install was flawless as well as installation. The two installers were pleasant and professional. They took a few minutes and did the install in a manufactured home where no wires could be cut and cables ran through the underside of the manufactured home. Everything was put with no wires showing. I am pleased with the system installed based on our review of needs. I will definitely be a repeat customer if I need anything. Sent in my initial inquiry one morning and got a follow up a little over 24 hours later. Just needed 3 ethernet cables ran and a pair of security cameras mounted, I already had all the supplies and materials needed and just needed help with the labor. Hely showed up right on time when expected and got to work while his partner for the job was about 30 minutes later to arrive but still in the expected appointment window. Both Hely and his helper spoke fluent Spanish but only Hely spoke broken English and for someone like myself that doesn't speak or understand Spanish there was certainly quite a bit of a language barrier there but we were able to work it out eventually. The quote I got seemed reasonably priced compared to others I had contacted, especially since I was only being charged for labor since I had all the materials already. After the work was finished and they left it set in that neither of them made any attempt to clean up all the insulation that had fallen from the roof in the spots they worked, outside where one of the cameras was installed there was trash laying all around including candy wrappers they brought in but left behind, and when I went to adjust the angle of the front door camera it literally feel out of the ceiling due to the installers failing to use the included or any other drywall anchors/plugs and instead sank the screws directly into the drywall knowing that they would not hold long at all like that, maybe a day or 2 at best. Hely did come back out to properly mount the camera after I called back when the camera fell off the ceiling, this time using actual drywall anchors/plugs to mount with. While everything in the end works and is installed it took a return trip and left behind trash and garbage and multiple messes left behind in the house to get the job done so no, I would not recommend 247 HiTek to any of my friends or family and I will be looking for someone else for future work. read more
