If you are a POC or have tan/brown/or darker skin tone - DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Also if you care…read moreabout supporting businesses that practice INCLUSIVE business practices, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE PROVIDER. They offer DISCRIMINATORY SERVICES, as their laser resources are not able to accommodate various skin types and colors. Their business communications regarding my customer feedback around the unpleasant client experience were unprofessional. After reviewing GetLazed's business materials on their website and recommendations for being a "good candidate" for laser hair removal, I made an appointment. I arrived at the office and within less than 30 seconds of meeting Dr. Steven Morgan, he tells me that he is unable to treat me because my skin is too tan. I explained to him that I have received laser hair removal treatment before when I used to live local to NYC (so I know it's possible to accommodate various skin tones). He told me to look up places that have YAG Lasers as they can treat darker skin, or call the place I went to previously and find out what type of laser they use to find a place that offers this laser service. He was dismissive and did not offer any recommendations for other doctors or service provides in his network that I may be able receive treatment from. (What savvy business owner isn't aware of his competition?!) Furthermore, I message GetLazed to express my concerns around the unpleasant experience I had in their office. Rather than being receptive and open to the feedback, they responded with disdain. They indicated that I "spoke very well" however "did not read and comprehend" their business communications on their website and text messages. As a person of color, these are blatant microaggressions and microinsults. Their website also says: "Our laser will perform on skin types I-IV; IV Skin Type = Brown Skin Color; typical Mediterranean caucasian skin." It's also safe to say that "brown skin color" is indeed darker than "tan skin color," so the language on their website needs to updated to speak to the actual skin tones/colors they CAN service. The doctor also mentioned they have been in service over 15+ years, so I suggested it would be great to see their biz evolve with the times and attain laser resources that can accommodate all types of skin tones in order to broaden their scope of service offerings. In response, GetLazed stated: "it is not cost effective and/or affordable to purchase a laser to treat additional skin types," indicating they have ZERO intentions of looking to improve/better their business practices. It's obvious GetLazed and Dr. Morgan would like to stick to the "niche" clientele and demographic he looks to treat...light/white skin tones. Interestingly enough, they are ok with optimizing on dark/black faces in their marketing materials (aka on Facebook) but are not willing to secure additional laser resources that would allow them to treat tan/brown/black skin tones because it's "too expensive," although their website indicates they are able to treat "brown" skin tones. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME on this segregationist brand. Book elsewhere and save yourself the embarrassment of experiencing modern day Jim Crow chauvinism & attack from the business owner like I did. Apparently "equality" for treatment & services is an "agenda."

I don't think "great" even quantifies how amazingly talented the staff is at Lombardi Plastic…read moreSurgery Center! Also, don't be intimidated by the name. This is my favorite med-spa I've been at in NJ, NY and SF. I come here for aesthetic & dermalogical purposes. I ONLY trust them for all of these needs. I've seen so many NPs here over the years, but I have to give a special shout out to my two favorite Nicoles! Nicole P. is so talented and knowledgeable and always provides her expert opinion. Nicole's hydra-facials are life-changing. I swear I could fall asleep on that warm table with spa music playing in the background and Nicole's magic hands working on my face. I've also got my mom hooked. Honestly, LPS is a family affair, and they know us by name! The staff is always so nice & accommodating, and always greets us with smiles. I remember the first time I met Dr. Lombardi--it was like meeting a celebrity! He is also such a sweetheart! I always feel safe here & would highly recommend LPSC to any of my friends!

I went into the office today in Sea Girt for a 12 o'clock appointment with Kim Clemente and was…read moreasked by the front desk, girl if this was my first time at the office. I told her no, that I had been there before yet she wouldn't believe me, asked me if I had the wrong location and then finally realized that it had been a few years and that they didn't transfer my profile over. From there, I was standing at the front desk, waiting for forms to fill out, watching her print out documents and clicking on her computer, but she continue to ignore me. After five minutes, I just took a seat, as I figured that I didn't need to do anything. It would've been nice for her to let me know that I could sit instead of standing there. Eventually, I was taken into a back room where I was asked again if this was my first visit. It had been several years since I had been to the office, so the tech suggested Kim evaluate me before moving forward. I agreed. She took a few pictures and then proceeded to walk a few steps behind me and make work phone calls. I find it odd for techs to be making Work phone calls in the same room as a waiting patient. Eventually, she walked out the back door and I was left sitting in a room that had to have been about 75 to 78° in temperature. I'm not sure if their air-conditioning was working, but it was boiling hot in the office. By 12:20 pm I had had enough, and decided that this was definitely not the atmosphere I wanted to get any sort of aesthetic procedure done. I walked past the room where Kim was sitting with a patient chatting and told her that I was leaving. She followed me out of the office to apologize for my experience and let me know that she had lost a friend to a car accident and she was discussing that with her longtime patient. While I have sympathy for her loss, I don't have time in my work schedule to accommodate for her personal life. There is a time and a place for these conversations. I needed to get back to work for a business meeting and there was no consideration in her mind for that, which is why I will not be returning to this practice.

My eyebrows were completely uneven. One was higher amd arched than the other. That is common when Dr don't know how to properly use or where to inject the Botox. She's a pediatrician which now makes sense why my Botox came out horrible. And to the owner or manager who responds to this review.....Please don't respond that Botox works differently on different people because like I said before, I have gotten Botox before amd this has NEVER EVER HAPPENED! When Botox is injected correctly or in the correct muscles on the face these results don't happen. Do your research!!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone. For those of you who are thinking of going there...do your research. Dr. Verma should not giving anyone Botox.
