They offer DISCRIMINATORY SERVICES, as their laser resources are not able to accommodate various skin types and colors. Their business communications regarding my customer feedback around the unpleasant client experience were unprofessional. After reviewing GetLazed's business materials on their website and recommendations for being a "good candidate" for laser hair removal, I made an appointment. I arrived at the office and within less than 30 seconds of meeting Dr. Steven Morgan, he tells me that he is unable to treat me because my skin is too tan. I explained to him that I have received laser hair removal treatment before when I used to live local to NYC (so I know it's possible to accommodate various skin tones). He told me to look up places that have YAG Lasers as they can treat darker skin, or call the place I went to previously and find out what type of laser they use to find a place that offers this laser service. He was dismissive and did not offer any recommendations for other doctors or service provides in his network that I may be able receive treatment from. (What savvy business owner isn't aware of his competition?!) Furthermore, I message GetLazed to express my concerns around the unpleasant experience I had in their office. Rather than being receptive and open to the feedback, they responded with disdain. They indicated that I "spoke very well" however "did not read and comprehend" their business communications on their website and text messages. As a person of color, these are blatant microaggressions and microinsults. Their website also says: "Our laser will perform on skin types I-IV; IV Skin Type = Brown Skin Color; typical Mediterranean caucasian skin." It's also safe to say that "brown skin color" is indeed darker than "tan skin color," so the language on their website needs to updated to speak to the actual skin tones/colors they CAN service. The doctor also mentioned they have been in service over 15+ years, so I suggested it would be great to see their biz evolve with the times and attain laser resources that can accommodate all types of skin tones in order to broaden their scope of service offerings. In response, GetLazed stated: "it is not cost effective and/or affordable to purchase a laser to treat additional skin types," indicating they have ZERO intentions of looking to improve/better their business practices. It's obvious GetLazed and Dr. Morgan would like to stick to the "niche" clientele and demographic he looks to treat...light/white skin tones. Interestingly enough, they are ok with optimizing on dark/black faces in their marketing materials (aka on Facebook) but are not willing to secure additional laser resources that would allow them to treat tan/brown/black skin tones because it's "too expensive," although their website indicates they are able to treat "brown" skin tones. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME on this segregationist brand. Book elsewhere and save yourself the embarrassment of experiencing modern day Jim Crow chauvinism & attack from the business owner like I did. Apparently "equality" for treatment & services is an "agenda."

I told her no, that I had been there before yet she wouldn't believe me, asked me if I had the wrong location and then finally realized that it had been a few years and that they didn't transfer my profile over. From there, I was standing at the front desk, waiting for forms to fill out, watching her print out documents and clicking on her computer, but she continue to ignore me. After five minutes, I just took a seat, as I figured that I didn't need to do anything. It would've been nice for her to let me know that I could sit instead of standing there. Eventually, I was taken into a back room where I was asked again if this was my first visit. It had been several years since I had been to the office, so the tech suggested Kim evaluate me before moving forward. I agreed. She took a few pictures and then proceeded to walk a few steps behind me and make work phone calls. I find it odd for techs to be making Work phone calls in the same room as a waiting patient. Eventually, she walked out the back door and I was left sitting in a room that had to have been about 75 to 78° in temperature. I'm not sure if their air-conditioning was working, but it was boiling hot in the office. By 12:20 pm I had had enough, and decided that this was definitely not the atmosphere I wanted to get any sort of aesthetic procedure done. I walked past the room where Kim was sitting with a patient chatting and told her that I was leaving. She followed me out of the office to apologize for my experience and let me know that she had lost a friend to a car accident and she was discussing that with her longtime patient. While I have sympathy for her loss, I don't have time in my work schedule to accommodate for her personal life. There is a time and a place for these conversations. I needed to get back to work for a business meeting and there was no consideration in her mind for that, which is why I will not be returning to this practice.

It's ridiculous that their email address and submission form on their website are advertised as ways to get in contact with them when no one responds. I spent well over a month trying to obtain written information on the procedures I have gotten done over the years as something had changed and I had an allergic reaction after my last appointment. Despite this, there was still no urgency on the front desk's end. When I called the first time I was told I would receive a response to my email and it never happened. I called again a few days later and the same thing was said and I still have nothing. Not to mention both people I spoke with were far from friendly or helpful. The poor customer service, as well as countless issues I have had with my filler and premature migration, is what made me switch practices. Nicole told me that my filler migration was my fault because of my anatomy. What's insane is she still offered to add more filler if I wanted. I received a second opinion from someone much more experienced and learned it's a technique issue and based on pictures I have, I had migration VERY early on. Nicole made me pay to get it dissolved when the migration wasn't my fault. Nicole also not only injected me with an active cold sore which led to an infection, but I had a scary occlusion because of her work. Her lack of patient education and one size fits all mentality is scary. Please do your research before coming here. I had one awful experience after another and am now with the most incredible injector elsewhere. I will never recommend this practice to anyone.

Once again, my appointment scheduled for 05/16/26 at 9am has been canceled due to the store being closed. This is especially concerning because, at the time of scheduling, I specifically confirmed twice whether the location would be open on Saturday. I was clearly assured that the store would be operating and that the appointment was confirmed without issue. After waiting for this appointment, I am now being informed that the next available option is after June 15 due to lack of availability in May. This is not an acceptable outcome, particularly given that this is not the first time this type of issue has occurred. As we have previously discussed, the reason I schedule appointments well in advance is to avoid exactly these kinds of disruptions. Unfortunately, despite prior conversations regarding these concerns, the same problems continue to happen repeatedly without improvement. Additionally, the cancellation list is not a practical solution for me. I maintain a full work schedule and cannot reasonably adjust my professional responsibilities around unpredictable last-minute openings. At this point, the repeated cancellations, misinformation regarding store availability, ongoing scheduling failures, and the resulting stress and loss of time have become extremely frustrating and unacceptable from a customer experience standpoint. Due to the ongoing inconvenience and repeated disruptions, I am formally requesting a refund or canceling my account with Milan Laser. There was no welcoming atmosphere, no effort to make me feel comfortable, and no sense of structure. What was especially frustrating is that there wasn't a single other client waiting, yet the technician still rushed through my appointment. The session was completed much faster than expected, and I honestly do not believe all of the treatment areas were covered properly. Laser hair removal should be performed carefully and methodically.
