Large, impressively ornate, creative ice creams with many topping and dipping options will make it difficult to pick one but we went with the bluest available! They also have slush, frappés, coffee, tea and bubble tea! The overall vibe of relaxation and wonder makes this the perfect place to bring the family. Small children would also very much appreciate the @pio_amusement park great for events and birthdays.

Great new addition to the South Shore! Insane desserts,…read moreover-the-top and decadent, ideal for those insta/tiktok shots! Fancier than your traditional ice cream cone, there is something for all sweet-tooths - and at any size! Everything tasted amazing! I had Le Decadent which is basically a milkshake or drink of choice with a cheesecake, brownie and a cookie on top. I must admit - everything tasted as good as it looked. The brownie was super fudgy and moist and my husband devoured the NY style cheesecake. They do a similar one filled with candies - those looking like something out of Wonka's Chocolate Factory!! My MIL, who is a massive chocolate fan, had Le Jet Set which is a chocolate-lovers paradise. Filled with everything Ferrero Rocher and Nutella -related. A must for chocolate fans! The interior is gorgeous with plenty of seating and a nice atmosphere.

Iconoglace absolutely deserves the hype…read more The menu is a little overwhelming if you don't speak French, but once you figure it out, there are a ton of unique creations you won't find at a typical ice cream shop. We ordered the L'Ouragan du Sundae. It's vanilla soft serve with lemon curd, olive oil, homemade shortbread, and raspberry compote. I honestly couldn't taste the raspberry, but everything else worked incredibly well together. The lemon kept it bright, the olive oil added a subtle richness, and the shortbread brought a great buttery crunch. It felt more like a thoughtfully composed dessert than just ice cream with toppings. The real star is the soft serve itself. It's ridiculously smooth and creamy. My girlfriend isn't a big dessert person and doesn't like things that are too sweet. After one bite she looked at me and said, "This is the best ice cream I've ever put in my mouth." That's probably the strongest review I can give. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and I'd happily wait in line again. If you're visiting Montreal, I'd put this near the top of the dessert list. Easy 5/5.

The October weather in Montreal could not deter me from ice cream. Our guide explained that Iconoglace is one of the more popular ice cream shops in the city, and that they specialize in vegan varieties with a rotating menu. While I noticed several items on the menu, we were given a choice of three of their soft serve combinations they had for the day. I decided on the raspberry and pistachio which was really good. It had a subtle flavor which was perfect as I wasn't looking for anything too overwhelming - I'm also pretty sure this was one of their vegan flavors which is a plus in case you're dairy intolerant. Overall, while I don't feel I explored a lot of their menu, I was impressed with what little I had here. There are many ice cream shops in Montreal, but I would definitely put this on my radar for a return visit.
