She informed me as well that they are full and stay full, so it helps to email her every so often to remind her we are still wanting to be on the list. In no way did she imply this was anything other than to just let her know we haven't gone elsewhere. She said she can go down her list calling 15 families before she finds someone who is actually ready to start. I can't imagine how many emails she gets like this since I've heard of some families waiting an entire year for a spot. Shelli took me on an hour long tour discussing each classroom, the teachers, methods, etc. She was very gracious and friendly and all the children were greeting her and some even asked her for hugs. This led me to believe Shelli is out in the classes, not sitting behind a desk all day. I actually got teary when I saw all the activities these kids were enjoying. This is NOT a daycare. It is a school where the teachers, and Shelli take pride in their students. The walls are covered with pictures made by the children, pictures of the children gardening, playing dress up etc. and cubbies full of wellies (mandatory) so the kids can play in the outside garden and make mud pies. Teachers send pictures and progress reports home about what they are learning. This is absolutely a wonderful place and I think the reviews should reflect the school itself. I know three families whose children go here and I can't say enough good things about their experience here. I only wish my son could start here right away!

The only thing that sucks about this location is that there is NO after school program unlike other CAP locations so make sure to plan on picking your child up by 2:30. My son attends the 3 year old class and the teachers and staff are wonderful and seem knowledgeable in child development. They communicate closely with parents and try to have them actively involved in their child's learning and progress. I'm very happy I put my boy here!
