They have a good assortment of kayaks available. We do not own our own kayaks or have a truck, so this gives us more freedom to enjoy nature from the water. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There is a small store that carry essentials so no need to drive to town if you just need basics. My son loved the indoor year round spa. There is also an indoor pool, which is not heated but we were able to swim during some pretty cool temps and months. There is a stocked pond, we enjoyed fishing many times. There is a banquet from available for private rental. It has a pool table which we really enjoyed when the weather was too cool to be outside. The laundry room is large, with many machines so you never have to wait to use them. Finally, the bathrooms are AMAZING- truly, the shower/restroom are overly generous in size, and offer full privacy. Real locking doors, not just shower curtains or stalls but real private and always clean and stocked With paper products. We stayed much longer than we had planned simply because we enjoyed everything about this park.

Man, was I happy to find Palestine RV Park! It's a fairly small park tucked away in the trees, with many long-term residents. However, they also cater to short term stays. I had my trailer there for four days. The sites are huge, with 30 and 50 amp electrical, water, and sewer. Roads in and around the park are asphalt paved, but the sites are unpaved, and it's fine sand that gets in EVERYTHING, so be sure to bring some doormats or something. The park is quiet (park rules say that quiet hours are from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, lol) and pitch dark at night, but there are pole lamps at the sites that you can plug in and use if you need additional lighting. Angela, the owner, met me at the gate in her UTV and led me directly to my site, where she did the paperwork and payment, then offered to help me set up my trailer! There's a nice laundry and shower building near the entrance. The park has controlled access with keypads and a gate controller, and you can come and go as you please. Everyone I encountered there was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay there again! p.s. Be sure to look for Bigfoot when you're there! ;-)

He kindly showed us our camping spot, the restrooms , dog area , the cool hangout spot where you can chill, watch tv, cook or read a book in peace . Our campsite was perfect . It had a bbq, picnic table, and hookups. Even though we did rooftop camping it was convenient to have creature comfort's around us . The restrooms were sparkly clean, safe and well lit. When he learned we were veterans as well he actually brought us cash and insisted we take the refund as a military discount. The main building is super cute with a cracker barrel feel and the other permanent residents were extremely friendly and gave us newbies lots of advice regarding our rig in the colder temperatures. I would highly recommend this place for an overnight or longer (wished we could have stayed longer!)
