We had a lot fun during our weekend getaway here. The place is kept really clean throughout, it's quiet and the staff is all very friendly. The place is also very pet friendly, we are so glad we brought our two dogs on this trip. We spent most of our time at the adult pool/bar and the bartenders were awesome specially the manager Caitlyn. She was on top of it and definitely ensured things ran smoothly. Extremely disappointed with our experience at Stillwater RV Resort over the holiday weekend. We paid for a camp spot, rented a golf cart, and reserved multiple cabanas on the "adult-only" side specifically so our family could relax and enjoy our trip together. However, my wife -- while caring for our very young infant -- was told she could not even enter the adult side. Instead of working with us or offering any reasonable accommodation after we had already paid, we were pushed over to the general pool area where it was overcrowded, loud, and packed with day-pass guests. There was barely any space to even sit or set up near the pool, and a DJ blasting music all day made it impossible to enjoy as a family. What made the situation worse was how the staff handled it. There was zero sympathy, accountability, or effort to problem-solve. The attitude we received essentially came across as, "Well, we already have your money, so there's nothing you can do about it." The fact that a mother with her infant child could not even stay in a cabana we already paid for was honestly shocking. We weren't asking for special treatment -- just basic understanding and customer service. For a resort that advertises itself as family-friendly with "great staff," this experience was anything but that. We left feeling frustrated, dismissed, and completely disappointed. read more

We stayed there for a month in April 2025. The weather was beautiful and they promised a heated pool but it never happened. They locked the pool each day and my husband had to go to the office and ask them to open it for us. They told us we couldn't go in because there was no lifeguard.This past May 2, 2026, our friends were camping there and invited us to join. We were hesitant but decided to join them anyway. Friday night we played pool and had a great time but the pizza was disgusting...the wings were ok. The next day was in the low 80s (you can google the date to verify) so we were excited to go to the pool. Was it heated? of course not...what a joke. Our friend's 5 year old grandaughter was blue when she came out of the pool because you know kids, they don't care how cold the water is. .They lie and say that the pump's not working....yada yada yada. Same story different year. I wrote a complaint on their websie but the person argued with me, blocked my comments and then I'm assuming deleted me as I can't write anthing else. Oh, and the whole resort smells like chicken shit when the wind blows because of the chicken farm next door. read more

Recently under new management, was good beforehand don't get me wrong, but the Owner himself and all management and staff that are now in charge of this place are amazing. Avoid this RV resort at all costs! From the filthy conditions and unsafe environment to the complete lack of accountability when their employees destroy your property, this place is an absolute circus. The food is not only overpriced, but calling it average would be generous. I only ate there after long day of running errands, but I stopped ordering altogether after being served undercooked chicken and pizza--not once, but twice. The concrete pads are uneven, and the power goes out far too often. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, with bloody tampons and dirty, soaked clothes left in the showers for weeks on end. I ended up taking my laundry elsewhere because their machines were always filthy and ruining my clothes. The entire bathhouse is just gross. The pest problem is completely out of control. Ants and black widows infest the park. If you're trying to get from A to B on foot, I suggest taking a deep breath and making a run for it--with your mouth closed. Unless, of course, you enjoy catching gnats. Water moccasins are an even bigger hazard. When I reported a sighting, staff shushed me and tried to downplay the issue. However, I learned that the resort is fully aware of a severe snake problem. Management claimed there were protocols in place for handling snake sightings, but other employees warned me that this was just a lie to pacify concerned guests and avoid causing an uproar. The pools are absolutely disgusting, filled with spiders, ants, and even tadpoles. You might as well swim in the Wibit pond--it's just as filthy, but at least it comes with the snakes for added excitement for all of you dare devils out there. As for the lazy river? It's not a lazy river at all. There's no flow--it's essentially just a third pool falsely advertised as something it's not. Some guests unfortunately pay the outrageous prices for a cabana, while many others simply help themselves to an unoccupied one and enjoy it for free. It's amazing how this resort manages its wildlife--by leaving dead animals lying around for kids to poke with sticks. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they found a way to charge for that too, and I'm sure the prices would be astronomically high, just like everything else here. The resort can't even keep up with basic mowing. When they do manage to mow, the workers either ignore small items like soccer balls or completely dismantle peoples belongings--i.e my tent, which they damaged. When I asked the manager about my tent being taken down, her response was like something straight out of a movie. First, she said, 'Oh, that was my cousin who took it down' But as soon as I mentioned the damage, she didn't miss a beat before changing her story: 'Oh no, that wasn't my cousin.' She then claimed none of the employees had touched the tent and completely denied accountability. I had just bought that tent for a couple of hundred dollars two days before they ruined it. Absolutely unbelievable. The enforcement of rules at this resort is completely inconsistent. You may find yourself being told to take down your dog pen immediately after assembling it, while your neighbors are allowed to keep theirs without issue. Some guests enjoy being able to stay up late, partying loudly well past quiet hours, while others are left frustrated that the resort does absolutely nothing to address the noise complaints after said time. Ultimately, your experience will depend on where you stand. Throughout my extended stay, I often went to the front desk to ask if I had received any mail. There was a stretch where we didn't get mail for weeks, and then, out of the blue, I'd be handed a massive pile of accumulated mail. My packages were routinely opened with the manager stating she thought it was for her. After expressing my concerns, they started taping them back up after opening them. There are several packages that I never received at all. Recently, when I called to follow up about my missing packages, I was met with sarcasm. The fact that my mail was constantly misplaced, opened, or never given to me is absolutely unacceptable. Finally, the most outrageous issue: my parked big as day, RED caravan was hit TWICE by their reckless employees driving golf carts--within just 15 days of each other. The employees were always racing golf carts, texting while driving, playing chicken with each other, and creating a hazardous environment for everyone. Management was hesitant to take responsibility. I was eventually reimbursed for the damage to my car, but only after a lengthy and exhausting dispute--and issuing a demand letter. read more

Stillwater RV Resort Our original booking was in May of 2023. We canceled within the refund window but they would only give us a credit for a future stay. So, we rebooked for July 2024. When we paid for the extra day in July they charged us full price and didn't apply the credit. We immediately called and told them but they would only offer a credit at the resort to use during our stay. They said the reservation system wouldn't let them give refunds (SO BE CAUTIOUS). Upon arrival we attempted to use our credit in the gift shop and restaurant and were told the credit was only good for the golf cart and cabana rentals because the restaurant, gift shop and bars were on a different system (BS) . Our first night of 4 our electricity went off in the camper. I reported it to the office the next day and nothing was done. It happened again the second night. The next morning I demanded to speak to a manger. I told her about not being able to use the credit to which nothing was done. I told her about the electricity she said the maintinance man would meet me at my camper. I gave up the whole day with the family to wait on them. Hours later 2 teenage boys drove up on a cart and didn't have a clue how to fix the problem. A few hours later the maintinance man showed up. He was very nice and extremely over worked. He quickly found that the 50amp outlet wasn't rated for an RV. Lucky my RV didn't get fried.. He quickly corrected the issue. The manager called and tried to offer me a credit on the restaurant but we had already planned meals for the rest of the stay. We planned to use our credit on the restaurant the first night but they said no. There wasn't much for my older teenage kids to do so we left after the 3rd night. When I asked for a refund they, of course, said no I could only get a credit for a future stay. I had my fill of them so we left. I called again, months later, to request a refund. I was given the same BS that they could only give a credit and even if they could there is no way to put it back on our card. The current GM, I'with whom I spoke, was two months new to the resort. The GM during my stay was new to the resort. The maintinance guy was new to the resort. There is too much turnover and not enough good customer service. I will never stay here again. Well...great concept. Nice facilities. But, TERRIBLE SERVICE and no attempt to accommodate and modify their policies to make up for it. Absolutely no BYOB allowed in their amenities, but, they can't serve a simple can of beer to you in less than 30 minutes--I guess there's no danger in getting over served. But, you also can't hydrate, because they can't deliver a bottle of water to you either. Look at the pic. They had 4 people working the bar, but apparently only one of them knew how to open cans. They almost outnumbered the patrons, but they still couldn't get us a drink. After 25 minutes we gave up. The next day we brought our complaint to the office and asked if they would let us BYOB, and the response was, "absolutely not". Needless to say, we will "absolutely not" be back. I recommend the similar concept in Waco. They have both a swim up pay bar and BYOB and the same amenities at a lower price. read more

My family spent Memorial Day at Stillwater. We arrived late for all the weekend festivities but heard from other campers how amazing and fun it was. We dined at the on-site restaurant and it was a 5 star experience. The menu is currently limited but everything we had was delicious. We had burgers, hot dogs, salads, chips and dips, plus the kids were stoked when they found out they had snow cones! The grounds are nice and the kids had a blast playing on the bounce house water slides. The adults in our party enjoyed the Adult Pool. We stayed in the ranch house on the property. There was tons of room and the western themed bedrooms were very comfy. We look forward to our next visit! read more

Had a great weekend getaway with the family. The kids spent their time in the lazy river and at the wibbit pond while the wife and I split ours between the pickleball courts and swim up bar. This place was pretty dog friendly so we'll definitely be back soon! I recommend bringing a bike, golf cart or electric scooter to explore the grounds. There's a walking trail too. The only thing that could make this place better is a spa! read more

I am leaving Stillwater RV park this morning. I have been staying here on my trips out of Dallas for over a year now. I originally could not believe how nice and clean this park was. It was a great place to stay. I stayed here for a week in early June with my granddaughter and we had a wonderful time. The place was clean, the food was bar food but good job on the food for a place like this. Keep your cook. Now, as far as my stay here in July! Holy cow it was terrible. I didn't realize until now how all the sites are packed in like sardines. The person next to me had his truck parked in front of his fifth wheel and because he did not back up enough he just parked his truck halfway in the road NO ONE could get around it in an RV. Only golf carts. NO ONE MADE HIM MOVE IT! So basically, without writing about all the other things I saw it is a free for all. Campers can just do what they want, even if someone gets hurts. Then look out management there will be many lawsuits. We ate at the restaurant the first night. There was a young girl singing. I mean young. She got help from the other waitress' to sing with her. Including rapping. It was not good. Be careful management who you give a mic to. There was not an adult working in the restaurant that I could see. Ok that's fine. Server was very sweet. Music a little rough but ok not great. Let's talk about the adult pool. It was packed with people standing in the pool with drinks packed in like it was a big bath tub. GROSS. Really? Kids running around the pool and jumping into the lazy river in every direction. Can you imagine how relaxing that was? I can't really explain how packed in all these campers were and how anyone would enjoy this. It looks like a camp you see on TV in a third world country! Again, Not Great! So my take away is this. If you like crowds and being in a small pool with 25 or more grown adults drinking and thinking they are cute. If you like being packed in on every side and in front of your rig. This is the place for you. Winter might be the only time to come and stay here. The grounds are well kept. Trees are needed. Someone needs to be in charge of this place. It is run by mostly 20 year olds or younger. The concept is a good one. I think the people that built this just put as many sites as possible with no thought of keeping it a "Resort". 5 star resort, not hardly. 5 star local get away, Absolutely! - RV spots slop enough to need blocks under one side of tires. Slops towards the large pond, possibly help with water retention. Back up sites are angled well with large concrete sites. - Lazy River is really slow. Feels like you're on a rotisserie because of the lack of trees. If it was faster it wouldn't be as bad. It's relaxing when the sun starts going down though. None the less, without being pushed or using my legs, it took me 24.32 minutes one time around. - Kid pool is at perfect depth and large enough for a parent to relax and watch their kiddos play with others. - Large pond wasn't ready yet, Park is still under construction and upgrades. - Staff was all friendly! - Food was great, maybe a little expensive. - Golf carts were fun and seemed brand new. (Limited rentals). - chicken smell is real, but not so overwhelming. You don't see them or hear them. Must be down wind from them, not sure. Last minute summer vacation selection. New. Clean. And close to the metroplex. Been here for seven days and so far we have enjoyed everyone of them. This place is awesome and only been open for few months. Our pool bartenders have been awesome. Shout out to Jemma, Tori, Maggi and Callie!!! You rocked it in 105degree weather the entire week! There are bugs to be worked out. Stale chips. No draft beer. Pricey drinks, Unshaded camping sites and not much for kids to do. Dog poop, small litter around every campsite, gnats, grackles and flies are relentless (the gnats are so bad and so think you literally can't open doors without getting invaded, water is dirty, lazy river is so slow you have to paddle around it to move, locals are allowed in when they want extra money and its like Caddyshack Caddy-day in the pool, locals with their beat-up vehicles, dogs, and tatted cousin/wives invade the place, employees and their families use the pool regularly, food is terrible, everything is super expensive, sites are concrete but Not Level, prices on things change constantly with their "specials" so you may pay $80 for a Cabana that changes to half-price at their whim but they don't offer a refund for future days rented, pool furniture cracked and stained, dead animal left on grass for entire week, charged $140 for 2 toddlers (grandkids) that came for 2 days. You know a place is bad if their Refund Policy is NO REFUNDS AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON. They clearcut the entire property and its like a airport runway. Oh yeah, and they leave these high-intensity streetlights on 24x7. FINAL WARNING, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. IT'S AWFUL. read more

the wibit lake got my daughters eye infected but everything else is good. definitely recommend to come in the summer because the pool is open and the wibit. the wibit is 25 dollars per person the first day which is a little much but then the next day it is 15 per person which is more reasonable. also, there are no life guards at the kids pool and the wibit lake there are like 14 year old kids who don't pay attention whatsoever read more
