I went in for a new birth control prescription and she told me I couldn't start it till my next cycle (3 weeks later), when I could've started it right then, it would've just delayed my cycle a little bit, no big deal. Well now I'm pregnant. 8 weeks along. Thanks Janet for not telling me all the information I needed for this birth control. Another time, I was in the process of being tested for ADHD/ADD and my whole immediate family takes some sort of attention deficit medication so Janet told me it would be okay to take their medication for the time being until i got the clearance for my own prescription as it was the end of my senior year. I was planning on going to UofL while doing the work-study program to pay for it. Needless to say, I failed my drug test with amphetamines as the only thing showing up. Of course, she wouldn't write a note stating she gave me clearance to take my families meds as her medical license would've been revoked.

Assigned to Dr. Price, his nurse had an unfriendly personality even though I had preregistered online with all the info she was upset I didn't have my medicines list to verify what was in my registration. I said aw man, I forgot to grab the list, but I filled it out online. Well you don't have to get upset with me she said with a firm hostility, I'm not upset at all. Just concerned I won't remember my meds is all. They were in my file the whole time? Then Dr. Price bolted into the room briefly asked what was going on, cut me off while I was talking, told me he didn't see anything on the x-ray to match with the pain I was having. Most doctor's smoothly slowly exam range of motion during the leg exam, NO! He rapidly shoved my legs back as if to play with a young child. Extremely painful, but he had already made his mind up that I wasn't having any issue. I was wearing a skirt he didn't bother covering me up as he flailed my legs around in the air even thought I had asked for covering! I asked did he view the MRI imaging that my other specialist saw issues? Extremely arrogant, dismissive, and disrespectful. Really spoke down to me as if I were crazy and not in extreme pain. As he roughly shoved around on my back during his brief exam I explained I was having a spinal fusion surgery and disc removed in my lower neck, he scoffed as if I didn't need that either. Tried quickly telling him I had severe pain in lower back and possible fusion there as well, but he cut me off again so I wasn't allowed to explain that either. THREE TIMES he shoved where my other damaged disc was that's pinching on the nerves!!! I was gasping for air and instantly sobbing as he told me that's where my hip pain was coming from. AGAIN my spine specialist saw in the MRI and showed me where my hip bone was pushed over rubbing bone on bone in the socket. He left the room, I hobbled over to be sick from the pain HE INDUCED then took my next muscle relaxer. He comes in to see me picking up my leg then dropping it when I walk he cockily asked WHY ARE YOU WALKING LIKE THAT? You need to bend your knee, no wonder you are in pain, AS IF I'm causing this debilitating pain! Like it's my fault? Through my tears I try to explain it hurt moving the joint around, this has been the only way I have been able to survive throughout the day with the pain. He finally admits to seeing what the other two doctor's saw, didn't give me a treatment plan, my options, nothing! Offered a shot in my hip, I'm still trying to collect myself and in shock that a supposed top notch doctor couldn't be so condescending and pompous to his patients, but I now see he has 12 other poor online reviews over the years stating the same exact situation and character. Well done you want the treatment or not?! I really wanted to bolt out of there but my children need me back to some kind of working order and my other surgeries are approaching. He finally gives me a gown but hikes my skirt all the way up and my panties down vs just pulling both down a little bit from the top as I requested. He doesn't sterilize the area, slowly put the needle in but it was very painful. His nurse suited him as she was just as rude and abrupt as he was looking at me as if I were petty, I hear her from the hallway, all needles are uncomfortable. Didn't bother telling me what to expect from the injection, treatment plan ...nothing! DON'T PAY "THE PRICE" go anywhere else but here!

Would be five stars if this location (and the other locations) didn't take almost three months to get in for an evaluation after surgery. I had to begin at this location, thirty-five minutes from my home, in order to get transferred to another location five minutes away. The soft tissue manipulation is what those of us need after surgery (and even without). I'm grateful when rehab doesn't consist of modalities (tens unit, etc) and instead spends time working the muscular system and strength building. Once you get in months after scheduling an evaluation, be persistent with calling so you can get in for appointments. I received severe surgery and needed to learn how to walk again, and going weeks without rehab when needed caused me to not walk as soon as I should have. The issue is across all Frazier Rehab locations, though. While they do put surgery patients in top priority, that's how long it took for top priority, eek. I was only able to get in once a week (when needing twice) for over a month. However, by being persistent, I've been able to get in twice a week by calling and getting into canceled slots. Top notch care, and the only place I will visit for rehab.

TIMELY: Today, I was able to complete all check-in items on my phone, showed up 10 mins early and was promptly called in at 1:01 for my 1pm appt (they really value your time and have a sign reminding you to let the desk staff know if you've waited more than 15 min). I had labs drawn by a skilled phlebotomist right after my visit and was finished in under an hour. CARING: everyone I encountered was kind and genuinely interested in my health from the front desk staff to the MA who roomed me to the physician. I saw Dr. Neff today (but his partners are all amazing). He inquired after not just my health but me as a person. I left with a solid plan regarding next steps and a clear line of communication established. KNOWLEDGEABLE: I needed some newer meds that not every primary care physician is comfortable prescribing yet Dr. Neff was able to discuss what to expect and carefully assessed for any interactions or reasons to reconsider these meds before skillfully prescribing them. I have had my ups and downs with this doctors office but l stayed with them thru billing errors, grumpy docs, grumpy receptionist, and now being given the option to go to another doc in my insurance group. Really? Is that what we get these days from businesses that we stick with thru thick and thin? It really left a bad taste in my mouth after all of these years. I felt dismissed, and l am a patient who has medical needs for hight BP, med complications, etc. Places like this are turning the health care industry into a factory environment, we all have a number, no other considerations other than that. I won't forget this dismissal, ever. I tried to work with them every time my doc changed, l had to tell the new doc all about the intricracacys of my med needs, more and more throughout the years. I have medical insurance that l like to use, but some of these offices are failing with their patients, and l am one who worked thru problems for years with these guys, and then was "just dismissed", after being there over 20 years. I am very disappointed with this office. I wouldn't refer anyone to them. Very disappointing.
