Came here with some friends during a rifle marketing event in which they were offering free range…read moretime with their showcased rifles. We used the opportunity to become more familiar with rifles since most of us had only shot a handgun prior. The staff and vendors were welcoming and it was an easy process registering for the range as a first time customer. They had plenty of eye and ear protection included for free and a good selection of targets, ammo, and rental pistols. The range itself seemed pretty standard in my experience with indoor ranges, so no complaints there. While I like the central location of this range, I think my only hesitancy of coming back here is the parking. I mean it is a very small lot to begin with and only half the spots are available to Top Gun because they share it with another business. We got there shortly after opening and it was already full by then. We were forced to park way down the street because street parking is limited as well. Multiple times while we were there, the staff were calling out vehicles that had parked in a non-Top Gun space for removal before they would get towed. I just feel a business of this size needs more guaranteed parking. To note, the range wasn't even that packed inside when we first got there because again we got there shortly after opening, so I can only imagine how frustrating the parking situation will be during peak hours. Otherwise, I recommend this place if you are looking for a decent range in Houston. They also sell all your firearm needs and my friend actually bought a handgun while we were there. It also looks like they host firearm classes as well which is helpful for beginners or those that want to sharpen their skills.

Myself along with my partner and family members took his course today and it was very well worth it. The amount of knowledge, security, quality, and education you will get, that I got, from this course is well worth every dime spent. Completing the course to become LTC I now feel very comfortable being able to protect myself. This is more than just an LTC course. You learn other ways to protect yourself as well (man and woman). I along with the class felt very comfortable asking questions. The instructor is very knowledgeable about the gun laws. Due to Covid-19 being a concern everyone wore masks the entire class period including the instructor. We all had to wash our hands upon entry. There was plenty of hand sanitizer for use throughout the class session as well. The environment was very clean and relaxing. Gun Range: You will go to the range to practice at the end of the course. No need to worry if you do not own a firearm. That is taken care of. The instructor was very clear on his instructions and ensuring you listened. But you do need to listen. This is not a joke. Firing a gun you need to practice safety at all times. Follow his instructions and you will have the aim for your target down like me . So if you want to learn how to unbutton someone's shirt when you are in danger I highly recommend this class. You don't get it now about the "unbutton" but you will. The value in attending classes and training at ISI far exceeds all of the so-called competition. I am NOT paid to write this. I have true experience with ISI. I recognized the need to become familiar with firearms, and hand guns in particular. I had an incident with someone following me one late evening. I was a single mom with a teenage daughter and wanted to protect us. From the classroom to the gun range, ISI was at my side. The training was excellent! The encouragement throughout the process was honest and rewarding. ISI gave me the academic and hands on training not to fear using a firearm to protect myself and my family. This course was so important that I also sent my daughter when she became old enough to carry. I highly recommend ISI for your own protection and the protection of those you love.

His primary goal is to make sure you have the skills and confidence you need to safely protect yourself and your loved ones. He will run through different scenarios with you for practice. He will have you practice two hand, one hand, non dominant hand, hold your purse or family, etc. He is easy to get in contact with to book your sessions. His sense of humor will also have you laughing during your learning session. I have been training with Sanders for over 2 years and trust him. Unfortunately for his customers, they get fed wrong and bad information which either could injure them or get them killed. Hopefully people see this review and will not waste their money. The guy is nice, but has teaches a lot of very bad techniques. I took the firearms training, maybe he has read enough to know about first aid. I served in Afghanistan as infantry, I was trained by the US Army and have seen and been in quite a few fire fights. Edit to add: I took one of your dynamic drill classes. Things not to do went from Major things like this: Never, move away from target while body is twisted and shooting to side. (You will trip, always follow bullets if shooting) To minor things like this: Don't rest bone to bone (elbow to knee) to stabilize. And all in between. I have attached a photo of your reply so you won't be able to delete your online rudeness. He may wow some people that have never had actual training, but for those with professional training, we know how bad of training this actually is.
