They sent two guys and finished the job in a flash. When I got the bill it was for $158. They charged $120 for labor because of there being two guys. They should have told me before hand that because they were sending two guys there was no chance they could come in on estimate. This was surprise number one. The bill also included $30 for an algae strip. You can buy these strips all day long for $10 (cheaper by the case). They said nothing about this before hand. Surprise number two. Most companies include a couple of algae tabs as part of the maintenance. The strips are more expensive and I should have been told of the high cost before the work was done. I will not use this company again. They missed their phone estimate by a whopping %75 high. Too expensive and too many surprises for a simple job like an annual maintenance on a small 3 ton unit. I can only imagine the cost overrun and uncertainty on a large job. There are too many other reputable companies to have to put up with this.

They definitely have the attitude of "We can treat you any way we want, because who else are you gonna use ? There is a huge problem with customer service in the Keys, and this company represents the worst. Well, I am gonna find someone other than this place.

It turns out it was the water pump, it had warped slightly and was leaking. However, the pump was in a very difficult place to access and required taking apart a great deal of the plumbing system. Mark and Rose showed up on time, with the parts, and had it fixed quickly despite the awkward and difficult location of the pump. They did a great job, and no more leaks! In my particular case, they use the wrong thermostat in repairing one of my refrigeration units at my restaurant which resulted in me not being able to adjust the temperature of the machine in question. I discover the problem several days after the repair was done and after I had paid in full for what resulted to be a "shoddy" repair. This company bolsters they have been in business since 1992 well my restaurant has been in business since 1980 and this is the first time an incident like this happens to me. If you are reading this review you will be better off calling a different company to do your refrigeration repair if you don't want to find yourself dealing with mediocre workmanship, lousy customer service and inferior- low grade parts.
