Gee, I only wanted some shots of our ceremony and of us together afterward, less than an hour. Enter Harp from Best San Diego Photographers! Harp replied quickly to my Thumbtack inquiry, answering my questions and giving me a "real" price; not a bait and switch, plus we received a video of our ceremony as well, which is a priceless addition! Harp followed up with a phone call and I found him to be professional, but yet friendly and warm, and most importantly, he understood what we wanted. Harp consistently touched based with us and answered any further questions that popped up, so I never felt like he "took the deposit and ran". He arrived 30 minutes early, which honestly was a relief because choosing someone in another city is always a bit scary with all the scams going on. Harp was just as friendly in person - even more so. My husband and I felt comfortable immediately. Harp not only took the photos he wanted from his professional eye, but he stopped to ask us what we wanted and didn't leave without asking if there were any other shots we'd like. I didn't realize how fast the whole day would go, and having her there to capture all the little random moments made such a difference. She was so chill and easy to work with, I barely noticed she was filming half the time. The next morning she already had everything in a Dropbox which blew my mind. I got to rewatch our first look, the little glances, all of it while we were still in bed the next morning. If you want someone who just gets it and makes you feel comfortable, Autumn's your person.
