Harp replied quickly to my Thumbtack inquiry, answering my questions and giving me a "real" price; not a bait and switch, plus we received a video of our ceremony as well, which is a priceless addition! Harp followed up with a phone call and I found him to be professional, but yet friendly and warm, and most importantly, he understood what we wanted. Harp consistently touched based with us and answered any further questions that popped up, so I never felt like he "took the deposit and ran". He arrived 30 minutes early, which honestly was a relief because choosing someone in another city is always a bit scary with all the scams going on. Harp was just as friendly in person - even more so. My husband and I felt comfortable immediately. Harp not only took the photos he wanted from his professional eye, but he stopped to ask us what we wanted and didn't leave without asking if there were any other shots we'd like. Karen Stiles is among the most rude people I have ever met, if not the rudest. Her work is average at its best, comedic at its worst. They were very flexible, from setting up times to meet with us to working with different options to help us stay in our budget. They made sure to meet with us multiple times before the wedding to go over our requested shot list and timeline, and shared some ideas of their own that we loved. They came to our rehearsal without us even asking just so they could scope out the area and prepare for the lighting and some good backdrops. The day of the wedding they both showed up early and were fun and flexible as I went through my pre-wedding jitters trying to get ready. They got every shot on our shot list and many more that we didn't think of. One of the things I was most appreciative of was how they had taken the time to figure out what we wanted before the wedding so then they helped us keep on track with our timeline and make sure we were able to get to all the things we had requested. Then after the wedding, a sneak peak of more than 50 photos was ready and waiting for us by the time we got back from our honeymoon, and over 800 more were edited and given to us within a month of our wedding date. If there's one thing you should never have to stress about as a bride, it's trying to get a hold of your vendors! They are available via email, phone, text, Skype - whichever suits you best. Ron and Marvin even helped us put together our timeline for the day of and gave location suggestions for our bridal party photos. My do-over (and advice to future brides) would be to allow more time between the ceremony and reception for bridal party pictures if you aren't doing them before or a "first look" session. Our reception was about 20 min away from the ceremony location and we have a HUGE family that we took group photos with after the ceremony. We were able to get some great shots, but the timing was tight! Sigma Six also printed out one of our engagement pictures and provided a photo mat for our guests to sign. They presented it to us in a beautiful frame, which we now have hanging above our dining room table! We received so many more pictures than we could have imagined! We have a ton of favorites that the most difficult task will be narrowing them down to put into a future album (we decided to hold off on a wedding album for now, in order to replenish our funds!). We were very surprised that they even delivered the pictures via a custom made flash drive and case - it was truly unique and special! I highly recommend Sigma Six Photography!
