My new husband and I chose 4 Moons Travel to help us plan our dream honeymoon to Italy. Our agent was Dawn Gray and she was the BEST! We had a WONDERFUL time in Italy!! It really was the trip of a lifetime for us. The tours were great, hotels were fabulous, transfers were very nice and helpful, weather was good and food was AMAZING!! It was all a very enjoyable learning experience. We have decided that we liked Venice the best as an over-all experience (for having all of the elements that were most appealing to us), our time in Florence consisted of the best tour (the wine tour to the castle in Chianti....BEST TOUR of our lives hands down!) and Rome was the winner in regards to the food and historic explorations. Everything was VERY expensive, but overall, it was a delightful trip. Just some F.Y.I. for future folks that may be interested in going to Italy......... we learned that many of the places in the cities we visited took ONLY cash. We found ourselves searching at the end of the week for places with the credit card sign on the door because we had run out of cash and didn't want the fees attached with taking out more. This includes restaurants, some stores and gelatarias. Also, it was pretty difficult to find people that spoke English well enough to understand. We relied heavily on our Spanish courses in college (since Spanish and Italian are so similar) to communicate our needs as they came up and we were fine. It just added to the experience, really. Thank you, thank you, thank you, so much for all of your hard work in making our honeymoon so magical for us! I would definitely suggest this trip to others planning to visit Italy. We have already recommended 4moons to several friends in the area that are interested in traveling. We had just moved from Illinois to North Carolina and already had our cruise booked for our 10 year anniversary trip. I thought I'd be able to book and plan the trip ourselves but after the recommendation of a coworker and endless hours of trying to find hotels and flights, we decided to go with Dawn at 4 Moons travel. I Just Booked another Cruise with Allen. I have been using him for 7 years and always a great vacation and a fair deal. I tried to book my own online but at the end I was miserable sooo many choices options. Allen asks a few questions and picks the perfect vacation. He sent us to Jamaica last year and it was awesome an all inclusive I paid once and that was the only money I spent out of country other than tips. This year is a cruise he hooked me up with a free drink deal. everyone knows that is where you spend the dough when you are on a cruise ship. But not this year.
