After ordering sleeping bags from LL Bean I needed to find a place to have the embroidery done. Yeah yeah I know LL Bean offers embroidery but if you have kids, and teens at that, then you know that what you think and what they want are two different things. I gave the girls the sleeping bags and carrying cases minus the stitching as gifts and then asked them what they wanted. I got the "I don't know" answer so I ventured over to 4 Seasons with the carrying bags. They gave me color and font options for the girls to pick from. After getting my instructions from the kids, back I went with my instructions. They did a great job and the bags were done. However, after a few trips some of the stitching got caught on "something" and came unraveled. Back in I went to have it fixed. They fixed it up at no charge and no questions. The original price was reasonable and they have an upstairs store so I can buy local school apparel too. The only hard part is matching up my work hours and theirs. I wish I could swing by on a Sat but they are only open weekdays with hours like the bank so I do have to make a bit more of an effort to get over there. I would normally consider a rude encounter as a bad day and forget about it, but I have been trying to a get something embroidered for over a year now (that they previously executed for me before, so the set up is complete) and I am met with nothing but hostility about how busy she is. Entered the establishment and signage directed me upstairs because the downstairs section was closed. Entered the door and stood by a table. The proprietor, a woman, seemed to be busy with an order and did not acknowledge or speak to me. She got up to check something, then sat back down with her back to me as if busy. I know she saw me. At this point, I make my way to the counter so she can at least know that I'm there. Nothing. She knowledged her dog who was snarling at me but did not acknowledge or speak to me. She then finishes whatever she was doing, sits down in front of me, and starts scrolling on the phone. Does not say a word. WTF. 10-15 mins have passed at this point. Zero conversation. Now, I'm cursing myself for wasting gas to drive to this so-called 4-Star place. I walk out. She still has not acknowledged me. Does not say jack to me. I'm glad I did not drop my garment off there. Epic failure of an experience. Still smh... 1-Star is not even deserved. Should be 0, nada. read more

The woman that runs this place has one of the worst personalities you will encounter. I walked in and said hello and her response was, "what do you want?" Their prices are high and the work was NOT good. They printed a captain "C" on a hockey jersey that was crooked (although she tried to convince me that the way I was holding it was wrong). The color white from the "C" ran onto the color of the jersey. I was told by the friendly owner that it was the fabric of the shirt and wasn't their fault. On top of that, they charged me $15 to print one "C" onto a jersey. Oh, and they don't accept debt/credit cards for any amount under $25 so I had to leave and run to the bank to get cash so I could pay for shoddy work and a nasty personality. When I questioned why she didn't tell me that when I dropped the shirt off she said there is a sign "upstairs". Problem is, I was in the downstairs part of their store when I spoke to them and dropped the jersey off. This is not my first time in their store. I purchased over 10 jerseys a year before and encountered the same friendly owner of the store. I will NEVER give them a dime of business again. Kathy does a great job making my fuzzy logos look great (and even designed a simple logo for one of my soccer teams), and helping me pick out shirts that are the right color, durable fabric and in my price range. I have been working with 4 Seasons for years; back in high school, while deployed overseas and for workwear with the FFD. It has now come full circle as I am getting high school items for my daughter. I really appreciate how helpful and accommodating Kathy, Shelly and Co. are. I needed to get some screen printing on some shirts I had so I spoke on the phone with the owner, emailed over the graphic we wanted to use and then dropped off the deposit. When I go to pick up the shirts, instead of my design, printed on my shirts is a stock clip art image and stock font. I explained to the owner that this was not what I had ordered. She became extremely defensive and denied me ever supplying a stock image. My response was "do you usually complete jobs without any input from the customer?" As I was never given any options when it came to the image or font and if i hadn't supplied any custom artwork I don't understand how she would expect me to not want any input on what is going onto my shirts. I then stated that I am not satisfied and would either like the job re-done or a refund. She said it's not happening, you didn't provide any artwork, denying any fault. I then started going through emails on my phone for the proof which then led her to her office where she started pulling up emails on the computer. Once she pulled up the email with the artwork she stated that it was not the right kind of format and I then replied "why wouldn't you inform me? Ask me to send over the right format?" And throughout this whole ordeal she is so completely rude and unprofessional, not claiming any fault and not wanting to give me a refund. At this point I'm demanding a refund while she is profusely swearing at me, calling me trash, all while I have my 5 year old son with me. My box of shirts was thrown onto the sidewalk, when I went to retrieve them she shut the door behind me and locked it. After a phone call later in the day she agreed to a refund, minus the $50 deposit. I was not happy about losing the deposit, especially considering I had provided the shirts myself so I lost the money spent to purchase them as well. This was by far the worst experience with a business ever, as someone who has worked in customer service for over a decade this is NOT how you run a business. Seriously would give it 0 stars if I could. read more
