They have been established for over 20 years giving top level service to Birmingham and its surrounding areas. I always thought that my eye sight was very good, until I reached the age of 31 and things in the distance started to become blurred. I explained this to the optician and he recommended an eye examination. The diagnosis is that I'm slightly short sighted. He gave me options for corrective care and lens. They believe that every patient's requirements are different, some might like the latest cutting edge frame designs and others perhaps might want something a little more traditional. I was impressed with the range and got some great Ray Ban pair of glasses.

With this in mind I decided to do some pre-emptive research on local opticians. The Pabari in Moseley has a good selection of glasses and the salespeople there are very helpful. They have a website with some information, but, unfortunately, they do not have models of glasses online. They do have a twitter though, which update their sales. The store has good variety of glasses and a good range of prices too. I can see that I will be visiting them for a purchase soon.

I tend to avoid them like the plague, however my husband needed to update his prescription and get a new pair of glasses. We were looking for an inexpensive pair of frames that would look good. We weren't bothered by all the designer gumpf as we have two small children, the youngest of which likes nothing more than to pick up Daddy's glasses and play with them by pulling them in every direction possible. We were also looking for stylish frames that weren't grey-it's amazing how grey seems to disappear into the background and I've lost count of the number of times we've lost valuable minutes of our time hunting around for the blessed things. Suffice to say that here you can find all the designer gear but also good looking but inexpensive frames that have a splash of colour which should make themeasier to spot around the house. There is also a great range of glasses to chose from, with lots of different designer frames and also some cheap but stylish ones. I have always left the shop satisfied and would not go anywhere else to have my eyes tested. Top marks from me !

I booked my test on the phone very easily and was greeted by friendly faces when I arrived. My test was done promptly and thoroughly- they have a lot of those fancy machines. Sadly including the air-puff eyeball one, which I hate, but at least I know they're checking everything. My optician was also very friendly, and took the time to show me the photos the machines had taken. As suspected, I needed new glasses, and the lady at reception helped me choose frames (always harder when you're short sighted...) and then helped me work out the best way to get value for money on them with the offers they had on. Really very pleasant, and it only misses an extra star because the frame selection is very small due to the shop size, and because they don't have the handy photo tv things that you can use to view and compare glasses.

I popped in for a contacts lense check up, and my opticians made me feel at ease whilst he tested my peepers. After a through check and lots of questions asked about my daily care routine of my lenses, I decided that I wanted to take a look at the frames with ideally walking away with a new pair. My assistant was super patient despite me wanting to try on lots of pairs, mostly which didn't suit me or were too big for my face. I wilted it down to four pairs, and as part of the service and helping me to decide what pair to choose my picture was taken modelling the fours glasses in turn. This was really useful and I managed to decide on my final pair. Woo hoo success! I was told that my glasses could take up to 10 days to arrive once ordered. They arrived in a week. The customer service here really is second to none, and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the opticians to everyone.

They always give me honest opinions about whether glasses suit me or not, and which contact lenses to go for, etc. Prices are OK, they don't have many offers, but because I am part of Contact Lenses By Post I get all glasses half prices (lenses and frames), so pretty cheap.

I started losing my sight about a year ago and I have absolutely no idea why. Some people have suggested to me that it must be age catching up with me; I am a little more reluctant to admit this myself. The inside of the shop is clinical and hygienic; the sort of feel a dentists has to it. The specs were displayed beautifully behind some perfectly fitted lights. I was impressed by all of this; it is everything I need from an optician. The staff were friendly about the prognosis, one that I was in denial about until I got a second opinion. I was impressed by their professionalism and I desire to come back here again some time soon.

The glasses that they sell are always of top quality even though some of them can be really expensive. There doesn't seem to be a lot of people that go to D and A anymore due to other companies offering better deals etc. But I find them fantastic and a pleasure to deal with they are always helpful.
