Artistry overload and I mean that in all the best ways. Photography to various paints, gem work to jewelry, canvases to candles... Something for everyone to be found, and in my case ~ maybe too much according to my budget. Sorry, not sorry... It is particularly fun when you are able to attend during one of their ongoing events (Franklinton Fridays, Market Sundays & Welcome Wednesdays) a most of the artists are on site and invite you in to learn about their methods & muses.

400 West Rich is one of the best places in Columbus for local art. It's home to many artists and studios. The area is still kind of scuzzy but it's improved from what it was. It's a great use of a crappy old building. There's also several hipster attractions near it. I had never been in the building before going to a food truck event. It was the home of the indoor food truck area. There was enough space to fit several inside, and there was a seating area on the middle of them. It was great getting food trucks and not have to stand in lines sweating. It unfortunately no longer does this. A few other businesses are on the building. This is the home of Strongwater. As for the building itself, it's better than it looks. The outside wall is covered in artistic graffiti, and the inside has lots of room to display artwork and house events for anyone interested in that kind of stuff. If you like art you should get to 400 West Rich. It's the home of many local artists. When you're done visiting you can go to a number of great bars and restaurants that are popping up by there.

What a great little development and an interesting group of tenants. It was just what we were looking for to compliment our downtown apartment living. An interesting place to work and have our tools/equipment, at a reasonable price. Also lots going on all the time, so you have a sense of being part of something new and exciting. It will interesting to see how the new "Dinin' Hall" lunch-time food truck project work, and how it changes the place.

Been here a few times for a few different events. Since this is an event space that events…read morethemselves can rent out, I'll try to avoid commenting on the actual events. Instead, I want to focus a bit on the staff and space provided at the Kee. I've been surprised by the event staff here every time I've come to an event. Every time I've gone, the bar has been pretty understaffed. Customers will come up asking for water, and bartenders will wave them off, saying "Get water from the free dispenser over there" while the dispenser is empty. Maybe this is a barback issue? The bathrooms start out okay in the beginning of the event, but every event has been out of toilet paper and paper towels by the end. They're looking pretty shabby too. The Kee might consider mid-event janitorial services because women ducking into the men's room to steal toilet paper rolls to hand them off to other women who are sitting in the stalls is probably not the look you're going for. The space itself is cute. Rooms are wide open with ample walking space. The main room (the Kee calls it "The Venue") is huge and echo-y - which is a shame because this appears to be where they put live entertainment and music. We've had a hard time hearing any presenter's words in this room because of the acoustics. The additional rooms are super cute (love the arcade games and unique furniture), but they're only open during events if your event paid for them. The arcade games cost extra money. There are nearby parking lots that'll handle most small-event traffic, but if something huge is going on, you might need to figure out street parking. The hallways/entryways are definitely built for shuttling people through, and they handle entrance lines pretty solidly. (I'm a little confused by the Yelpers reviewing food or drinks here. The Kee is only open for private and public events. It looks like this might have been a restaurant space at one point?)

The bathrooms were awesome (pink sinks, faucets, and hand dryers in the women's room!) -the barista who manned the coffee bar for the event was wonderful. Graystone Cellars is a banquet venue in the Brewery District located in a limestone vault. (pretty cool, huh?!) They carry some local wines & their food menu looks delicious! Plenty of options from a la carte apps to dinner and apps to dinner, drinks, & apps, etc. For drinks, there are multiple options from sodas to wine/beer to wine/beer/spirits, to better spirits, you name it! Brian was responsive and the information packet he sent me had everything I would want to know (the food and drink options, venue pictures, cost, etc.). I asked if gratuity was included, and he confirmed it was added into all of the pricing. So, it was a really great option! I haven't reviewed places I haven't experienced, but we looked at quite a few venues, and I was really impressed by the quality of food and drinks, how beautiful the space was, and the price. It was the best venue option, in my opinion. So, I wanted to share! The only reason we didn't book Graystone is because one of my colleagues got too nervous about the little lead time we had & wanted something with live bar music for the younger folk, so he booked a grungy bar. The younger team wanted to karaoke (he didn't), and he knew that no one could karaoke if there was already live music & a venue available to the public, so here we are. Ha! Fingers crossed for next year.

I am not sure if the venue supplied the decor or not, but the entirety of the venue, even down to structure of the actual building, is just really pretty. It's simple and has a rustic yet modern and clean farmhouse feel. Lots of greenery everywhere. The party lights strung all throughout the ceiling definitely added a very quaint and warm feel. I was surprised it only took the cocktail hour after the ceremony for the staff (of whom was very inconspicuous... I don't even remember barely noticing staff) to turn the room where the wedding took place, into the reception! With tables, linens, big grand center pieces... I mean... the works!
