They have both an outdoor and indoor space and they are pretty well equipped for AV. They also have chairs and tables as part of their package. We didn't up booking this venue as we decided it would be too hot for an outdoor event in July, but this is definitely a great find in the Altadena area for anyone venue shopping! read more

We had the pleasure of hosting my daughter's baby shower at 409 Woodbury. I cannot say enough positive things about this wonderful venue. First and foremost, when you are hosting an event in August, great A/C is a must and 409 definitely has that. While the exterior may seem simple, the interior lends itself to any celebration. There is lots of natural light and lovely live plants that you can use in your setup. The furniture is all easily movable, and you can arrange it to your liking. Samera, the owner, is very easy to work with and responsive to communication. Deborah was our onsite staff member the day of our event. She went above and beyond, helping us set up, checking in (very unobtrusively) during to make sure we had all we needed, and helping breakdown afterwards. Our guest kept raving about the venue and what a truly hidden gem it is. We would definitely plan another event at 409 Woodbury! read more

We threw our daughter's first birthday party this past weekend using the indoor venue! We were able to host around 80 family and friends! Samera did an amazing job with communication and sending me videos of the venue just so I was able to visualize placement for the other vendors I hired for the party! Davida was an amazing event coordinator and ensured that the party went smoothly. Just had my son's birthday party at 409 Woodbury and it was great! The property is spacious and guests were covered from the sun in different areas. After touring several venues, we knew this was the perfect one to book! We used this event space for my daughter's first birthday party and everyone loved it. We especially loved how "homey" it felt. I really like this cozy venue! I liked it so much I had to take my maternity photos in it. It had many beautiful decoration options to choose from all I really needed to do was bring my flowers and photographer. WONDERFUL EVENT SPACE! Hosted my daughter's 1st birthday here and it was a wonderful time. We got lucky with the weather that weekend- it felt like summer on a January weekend and it was perfect for hosting up to 150 guests. It was exactly what we needed considering we had a variety of groups who were not familiar with each other, so the space provided fit what we wanted. We utilized the whole event space from front to back; main room to the outdoor area. The addition of the tents were a nice touch especially since we needed shade on that sunny warm day and the variety of many electrical outlets were around for my vendors to use. This venue space was exactly what I was looking for and thoroughly enjoyed working with the event space owner, Samera. This is a fantastic event space! I was recently planning an afternoon tea fundraiser event for the non profit organization the Junior League of Pasadena. We almost booked somewhere else that didn't look very nice and decided to do one more push looking for venues. We found 409 Woodbury and it seemed to check all the boxes. The owner Samera was incredible responsive. She worked with us, suggesting a Sunday all day rental to make it easier on us. It's very convenient that they already have a good amount of tables and chairs. We only had to rent a few things and they have a relationship with a rental place that is super close, they coordinate it, making it really easy.
