Andrew, Bob, Cheryl and Shawn - if you have hair, they will cut it. My son and I have patronized 43rd Avenue Barbers for over a year now. I use Cheryl - he uses Shawn. Friendly atmosphere and uniquely themed with various sports memorabilia, they run a clean shop. Never an issue and hardly ever a wait. Bob is a pro! I came in with hair that was grown out for 7 months and Bob took care of it. I left with the greatest haircut I've ever had.

I have never had a bad haircut here. Friendly staff with great conversations. No matter which chair you pick you will get an excellent haircut from professional barbers . The cost is very reasonable. They also can cut women's hair with competence. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

This gem is the absolute perfect place to git yer hair did. As soon I stepped through the door I was welcomed by the three friendly barbers. Their flooring, sport memorabilia, and classic sarcastic art gives the atmosphere a lighthearted look and feel. It's hometown comfortable! Cheryl does an excellent side part cut! I get there at 4:40 (not knowing they close at 5)to get a haircut for my son . I go to open the door and it is locked . I then see them inside lowering the shade . I guess they were closing early or don't want my business . They could have opened the door and said hey we are closing early .There are plenty of places in Vero that do want to peoples business and this place is not one of them . I would avoid a place like this read more

I really want to like this place because the people are very nice. I took 2 pictures to show the guy how I wanted my son's hair cut. It was short on the side with just a pinch longer on the top. When he finished cutting my son's hair my son had a huge amount of hair still on the top of his head. I said it's too long and the barber started making excuses that if he goes shorter blah blah blah. He then took my son back to the seat and took the electric hair trimmer and started going around my son's head. This cut should have been done by scissors. It was clear by the pictures I showed him. My son's hair looks bad. It look like a big fuzzball on top of his head. Also, I found it inappropriate that he asked my son if he speaks English. My son probably speaks better English than him. On another note, now I have to take my son elsewhere to fix the mess and spend extra money. read more

43rd Ave. barbershop is excellent! When I come to Vero beach Florida for vacation every year every Christmas and summer I always go here and get my haircut, and my son gets his haircut! They are friendly reliable and they are cheap they are only $10 for a haircut and they are serious professionals! It is a great place to go ! It has a great sports atmosphere, and the people are so nice and so wonderful they also specialize in children's haircuts! I started going here years ago, with my 4 kids. The low price brought us in, because 5 cuts can run into a few bucks, especially for a single Dad, with 4 kids, but the cuts are great. I think we are going on 11 years with Shawn. He is a great dude, and if you love sports, wait for his chair to open up. He knows a lot about most sports, except for Football and Baseball. ( Sorry to say, he is a Dolphins fan, and a Yankee fan). Aside from his shortcomings, he is the best barber I have ever had. I highly recommend this shop. It is truly an old school barber shop. Just got 2 of the best haircuts my son and I have had in a long time! The reason why, Bob is there! He used to be at the Silver Clipper, but now he is here at 43rd! What a great guy, great barber and really nice barber shop! Walking in you wouldn't expect to get a $10 cut by looking around, very clean, comfortable and professional, with that old-time barber feel. My cut by Bob was once again perfect, and my son has been talking about his haircut all day by the woman ( I'm sorry, can't remember her name) who did a phenomenal job! I have been going to this place since it opened up like 10 years ago and have never been disappointed one time. All three barbers will take the time to listen to how you want your hair cut and make sure you don't get up from the chair until your 100% satisfied. Great cut and atmosphere. Bob is a real pro with decades of experience and a master of the classic cuts. My sons and I have been coming here for the last 10 years since we moved to Vero Beach.
