When I started looking for a house, a quality home inspector was high on my list of crucial partnerships. Suffice it to say that I was not disappointed with Jeremy. In fact, I was overwhelmingly positively impressed! I ended up having him do inspections of a few houses before I bought mine and Jeremy's reports were fantastic. He was amazingly thorough and I had total confidence in each report and that I was able to make an informed purchasing decision. Now that I have a house, it also helped me prioritize repairs and upgrades. I was fortunate enough to get a turnkey house but knowing about outlets that were wired backwards and other odds and ends of things allowed me to spend a bit of time early on making sure that the house is safe and secure. I'll add that Jeremy's reports are top notch. He even found spots where the roofers used the wrong nails and called those out for me. I honestly don't think that if I spent a day crawling around every inch of the place that I could find a single thing he missed. Radon levels in the basement are a little above norm but not outrageously so and that gives me peace of mind as well. With Jeremy's report in hand, we were able to prioritize and asked the seller to fix the major issues knowing that we'd need to pick up the minor issues ourselves. I've recommended Jeremy to my son and his wife as their go-to inspector as they're looking for their first house. That's the level of confidence I place in Jeremy's work and I have equal confidence that you'll be pleased with your partnership with him as well.

This wasn't one window it was four very large windows. The home seller lied on many things of the home disclosure statement. When we brought this to his attention after we bought the home and tried to open the windows he stated he was really surprised he missed those windows, said he would make it right and that he had insurance for such things with his business. After several attempts to get his attention on this, he through a lawyer denied he was negligent and made the statements to us. Do not use MG Home Inspection. Our experience with him was horrible and has cost us thousands of dollars in home repairs.

Brian's promptness in communication is impressive. If he was not able to answer my text/call, he sent a message telling me at what time he would be able to chat. He took 3 hours conducting the property inspection himself. Then, he gave me an after-inspection tour, took time explaining every issues, minor or severe, while walking through the entire property. The Inspection Report is comprehensive with photos and descriptions. I plan to print out the Report, put it into a binder, and treat it as THE BIBLE for future repairs and maintenance of the property. Other than Brian is professional and communicative, one little thing impressed me immensely. When I entered the property for the after-inspection tour, I noticed Brian was wearing a pair of slippers. His shoes were next to the entrance door on top of a blanket which he took with him to the site. The little thing actually demonstrates the quality of his service. The house that we were living in was for sale. HomeTeam was scheduled to come for the inspection at…read more3:00 PM. They arrived at 2:15. A radon detector was left at the house. We were told that they would come two days later to retrieve that detector. Once again, we were told that they would come at 3:00 PM. The house was left unlocked (because we live in the country and generally someone is around). They arrived WELL before the time scheduled and without our consent, the "inspector/s" entered our house to retrieve the detector.
