Matt of MG Home Inspections did a very poor job on the home inspection we hired him to do I'm May of 2021 His lack of a thorough inspection in a large great room which contained many windows was so bad that we ended up buying the home with windows which were inoperable (crank out mechanism falling off) due to severe rot. This wasn't one window it was four very large windows. The home seller lied on many things of the home disclosure statement. When we brought this to his attention after we bought the home and tried to open the windows he stated he was really surprised he missed those windows, said he would make it right and that he had insurance for such things with his business. After several attempts to get his attention on this, he through a lawyer denied he was negligent and made the statements to us. Do not use MG Home Inspection. Our experience with him was horrible and has cost us thousands of dollars in home repairs. read more
