Machines take your money without registering it so we had to move the clothes to another washer. The money return on the machines doesn't work either so lost money both times we came. Multiple machines had "out of order" signs on them. The price also went up on two of the three machines we used once a temperature was selected. We selected "hot" on one and "cold" on the other and both increased. The machine soap dispensers all had gunk in them and were sorry. There was still soap in the machine when it rotated to a stop so I'm sure things didn't get properly rinsed. Garbage can was full and the floor was dirty. The plus side was that there was only one other customer there(who probably hadn't been warned to go elsewhere). Since this is the only laundromat in town, you either will have to make do or go to a neighboring town though. Just bring extra change and keep your clothes from falling to the floor. read more

The facility is dirty and many of the machines are out of order. The floors and folding counters need to be cleaned...big time! We did our laundry out of necessity but definitely would have gone to another place if there had been one in town. Our advice: use some old fashioned elbow grease and clean your business up ASAP! read more

I've been coming to Forest Vill, IA for Winnebago RV service for the last two years. THIS IS THE MOST DISGUSTING LAUNDROMAT I HAVE EVER SEEN. The small front loads in one room with the large front loads are kept closed and moldy. The larger front loads are disgusting but at least you can wipe the inside door and they do t have the rubber moldy gaskets. They don't spin the water enough so you can literally ring your clothes out and water will come out. The front loads in the other room are filled with pet hair, gooey gunk, screws, jewelry and hair. Dryers have screws and crap stuck in them. The rolling laundry baskets are grimy so are the walls, the floors and everything thing else in here. I guess because it's the only game in town they can get away with this horrendous excuse for a laundromat. read more

Facility is filthy. Over half the machines are not in operational order. I had a local user tell me which machines worked so I didn't lose my money. There is a restroom, but the door doesn't shut. Would probably have better results taking my clothes to the river and beating them on a rock. read more

DISGUSTING!!!! I don't know where to start... The 4th St Laundry in Forest City IA is FILTHY!!! There needs to be a star with "0" . Yes, it was that bad. Floors, washers, dryers, bathroom is disgusting (do not use). I took pictures but Yelp won't let me post them for some reason. There are 4 or 5 large washers that don't even work or are not plugged in. Doors are hanging off, where you add your coins are gunked up (will take coins but amount doesn't register so you lose your money) I have never in my life, and we travel across the country, been to such a dump. People don't believe the pictures posted, they are probably from when they opened for the 1st day. Many dryers had lint in the trays, I can only imagine the ones that have a drawer that needs emptying. The dryers are running very hot, be careful. I sure hope someone local calls the Board of Health. For pete's sake people, you are washing your clothes and linens! We also went to a laundromat called Lucy's in Garner IA they have their own issues. It's a shame, we come to Winnebago for service, next time I'll make sure our laundry is done prior to coming. So my suggestion to the owner...get in there and CLEAN! Call a service man to fix everything. Hire someone to clean each machine 2x a day with a disinfectant spray. You'd make more money if this place was desirable. read more
