The water park was closed, and the batting cages and the arcade weren't things we did this time, so I have no idea about those. But we had a good time racing and putt-putting and play-playing. The mini golf course is actually really cool. You go over bridges, into caves, under water falls, and up and down stairs. It took us a good half hour to complete. The go-karts go around a small race track, and they can be kind of loud, but my older kid said he had lots of fun. He went around at least four times! It seems more fun to race when there's more people there. The playground is nothing spectacular. In fact, it's a little run down and janky. But that mattered not to my youngest, who played on the playground the whole time his older brother was racing on the go-kart track. I liked Adventure Island for my own reasons: Because there are old, hand-lettered signs everywhere. You don't see hand-lettering much anymore! But it's here, and it's spectacular. Got to love old-fashioned, handmade signs.

My family and I enjoyed a round of 18-hole miniature golf, which took us the better part of a half hour to complete. The course is really fun and has lots of different hazards and interesting things that kept my kids entertained. This is a small business, and there's putt-putt and only putt-putt here. You'll also find some ice cream bars and beverages in the cooler at the front desk. There's a small, covered picnic table by the parking lot, if you want to enjoy your lunch before or after your game. It's a nice place to stop and have some mini golf fun while enjoying the outdoors.

All outdoor produce was crawling with flies and we did not want to try and shoe the flys away in order to get to the items. Please realize how many OTHER people may have walked away last weekend grossed out like we did and how much produce was NOT bought as a result.
