He installed a new door, frame and trim, realigned and fixed a front entry door and fixed a back garage door, plus repaired several other household items on my To-Do list. He did a great job! I hired him a second time as I needed an attic access door cut and installed in my garage, plus I needed him to seal off a ceiling in my utility room. Everything Devin did was done efficiently, correctly, on time and to my satisfaction. (He also cleans up the workspace after he's finished.) We had used Overhead in another state many years ago. They were good enough and had no problems. We are an hour from Billings but still in the southern part of the state. Keven arrived the next afternoon and work for about two hours. When he finished, he opened the door. I noticed the door didn't open all the way. He closed the door and tucked a cable into the track. He opened the door and it seemed fine. It didn't take long until it wasn't opening all the way again but that was okay. We were still able to drive our pickup into the garage. Then we traded our "little" pickup for a "bigger" pickup and we couldn't drive it into the garage. I called Overhead Door of Southern Montana. To claim southern Montana as your service area is a really huge area with a number of small towns. They were really busy and didn't have anyone to go to the outlying areas. They would try to combine some of us so that no one was paying the full amount for mileage. I appreciated that and I expected a phone call later that week to let me know when they would be in our area. I didn't get that call so I called again. No, they didn't have anyone to come to the outlying areas. Everyone was busy with "urgent" commercial projects. I called again the next week. My husband was anxious to get our new truck into the garage. I was told the same thing as the week before. I wasn't very happy and I wasn't very nice. She said they were "family owned". I'll give them a star for that. She said she'd talk to the boss. I didn't hear anything for the rest of that week. On Tuesday of the following week (two weeks after my call that someone needed to come back), I had a voicemail that Overhead was coming to our area. I called back to tell them, "Too late. We are going to someone else." I truly appreciate family owned businesses. But if you have a big contract or multiple contracts, then hire the necessary number of employees or subcontractors to get the work done.

There have been times where we received less than desirable contract work from installers (which are affiliated with carpet garage but not employed by them). We had a few issues with quality of install and they were corrected within the week for free. One of the most reasonably priced flooring stores in Billings. Have yet to explore Casper, Bozeman for options but I have a feeling transport from either of those towns would either financially negate the switch or put us over budget.
