I had spoken to many people on pricing to demo. They were all extremely high. Josh and his team were referred to me by Clayton's Homes. My stress points were no home and a baby due mid January and at this point we were living in a hotel. Josh and his team came and beat all of the other prices by a mile. They were FAST, Efficient, courteous, very professional. Even when Josh wasn't on the site. The men knew their job and just kept on doing it. Not one man was lazing and just sitting back. His team also brought in 14 loads of dirt to insure my house would be level, ran my footers and also ran new water lines and sewage lines to be sure that everything worked properly. I'm an older female, and sometimes you feel men take advantage of you. I have never felt that way about J&A Grading. Every question I asked they stopped answered it. They went way above and beyond my expectations. They made sure to make sure everything looked good and ready for my new home. Homeowners beware!!…read more I first met this vendor after discovering they were using my yard as an unauthorized access point to drive a backhoe alongside our property. It was very presumptuous to operate heavy equipment on our lawn without first obtaining our permission. When I spoke with them in person, they seemed reasonable and indicated they would address the situation. Unfortunately, once they left the area, communication became a completely different story. We have reached out to this vendor at least three times by phone and text, and they have been largely unresponsive. Ironically, the primary reason I was trying to reach them was to discuss hiring them for work at a second property we own. It's unfortunate that their failure to return phone calls or text messages will likely cost them a project worth thousands of dollars. Responsiveness and follow-through are important qualities in a contractor, and based on our experience, those have been lacking.

Two days later I discovered a significant pool leak, I hired a pool leak expert and he found that Cope pools drilled and damaged our pool pipe. I told Bucky what happened and he denied it was his fault. I asked for a refund for what I paid him and he called me "insane". He is extremely rude and condescending. This is not a company you want to do business with.
