This tired, old mall was never more than a barely adequate one. I'm sorry to see that in spite of a…read morefew cosmetic attempts to upgrade some store exteriors, it's really going to crap. You have a precious few necessities like the Bank of Montreal and .. I wouldn't necessarily call the Tim Hortons or any of the other retailers, necessities. You have an LCBO, a Winners, a Dollarama. So many tiny little other enclosed booths inside that are hardly worthy of being called stores. It was like looking at a strangely ruined version of a cross between a Pacific Mall kind of setup and an abandoned shell of a mall in Buffalo, but with few patrons. Not at all bustling, practically depressing. The whole interior is badly deteriorating. The floors are faded and worn, the glass windows are cluttered and dingy. We went into the Ardene for a gift shopping run and it's pretty much the highlight of this mall. Would not bother coming back if I can avoid it.

This mall is the epitome of the Ghetto Mall. It is very run down with many storefronts empty. Many…read moreno name stores with poor quality merchandise. Lots of animal print clothing in synthetic fabrics. Why do I go here, you may ask? Well, it's across the street from my dentist, who is the best dentist ever, and I have followed him all across town from since the time when he was at Bathurst and Bloor almost 2 decades ago. And even now that I live in Ottawa, I still see my dentist in Toronto and make a whole road trip out of it, but I digress. I never know what traffic is like in Toronto so sometimes I arrive for my appointment way too early and so I head across the street to the mall. Every time I'm there, I ask myself what am I doing here? This is not a shopping destination. I have never purchased anything there. If you live in the area I'm sure it's functional enough - there is a Walmart there, but I would never make a special trip just to go there. Even the Winners, which is one of my favourite stores, is not that good there. The food court has independent stores as opposed to chains although they have chains too. And the layout is interesting, the food court stalls are in a cluster at the centre and the seats are all around the perimeter. This Mall is in serious need of revitalization in my opinion.

The person who was helping me was a younger male and he was so helpful as he would recommend good scents that were appealing to me. The pricing is reasonable as the rollers are only $5 and last a very long time. I'd definitely recommend this to everyone.

There is also no doubt that this person offers his 'opinions' without knowledge of the trued religion of Islaam. I indicate to his lack of knowledge of the affairs of the actual sources of the books / publications that can be found at this store. The owners of the store to my understanding are not promoting "Salafi/Wahabi Islam", this as they are not themselves "Salafi/wahabi" they do offer a varied selection of books that are of different Manahaj (methodologies) in which Islam is practiced. The 'reviewer' also goes on to say "Salafi/Wahabi (think ISIS, al-shabaab)" perhaps the 'reviewer' has personal knowledge of what these two misguided groups called ISIS and al-shabaab are all about. 100% they have NOTHING to do with Salafi or Wahabi. Further these two names having nothingt o do with each other! A Salafi muslim sticks or clings to the correct teachings of the prophet Muhammad (salaahu alaihi wa'salam) by way of narrations (athar) of the messenger of Allah (salaahu alaihi wa'salam) and as the ayaat (verses) of the Qur'3n that was revealed to the messenger (salaahu alaihi wa'salam). A Wahabi is considered to be someone that follows the teaching of Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab (rahimullah) neither are or should be considered as like ISIS and as-Shabaab. To say this reflects ignorance on the person making this statement. As far as prices are concerned I would invite this reviewer to open his own bookstore or any business and see how this works for him.
