I got a shirt, sweats, hats, and a few other items that looked like fun things to have. I skipped the $20 onsie. I probably should have bought that too. As for food, I love the fresh chips and those chopped brisket sandwiches. I did not think the breakfast sandwiches were as tasty. There is a wall of beef jerky, but I went straight to the glass and asked started pointing and asking for it by weight. Jerky isn't cheap, but it's good. My favorite was like a refrigerated ready to eat sausage.

I have been a regular customer at this location and have consistently enjoyed professional and courteous service--until this incident, which has compelled me to share my concern formally. Upon approaching the checkout counter, I was greeted not with a friendly welcome, but with immediate hostility by a cashier named Rose (older heavy set woman with dark hair). Despite me smiling and saying nothing initially, she abruptly ordered me to place my drinks on the counter in a rude and authoritarian tone. I was already in the process of doing so and was taken aback by the aggression in her delivery. Attempting to remain polite, I let the incident go. However, when I proceeded to pull up my ID using the MyColorado app, which took no more than 1-2 minutes, Rose began demanding the ID impatiently and repeatedly and aggressively struck the register, causing me to feel unsafe and uncomfortable. I calmly informed her that the ID was loading, but she continued this behavior, escalating the tension unnecessarily. Once I was able to display my ID, she did not scan it or even verify my birthdate, which is a legal requirement in Colorado when the customer appears under 40. This failure to follow protocol, combined with her intimidating demeanor, is unacceptable. The experience further deteriorated when I attempted to pay via Apple Pay. She again violently struck the register, making it seem as though I was incompetent with technology, which was both insulting and unnecessary. After that transaction, I realized I had forgotten to purchase my tobacco products. When I asked for my preferred brand, she rolled her eyes and curtly stated they didn't have any. I had to prompt her to tell me what other flavors were available, which she did not do. After paying a second time, she refused to hand me the cigarellos and left them out of reach, only telling me to grab the receipt. Given how uncomfortable I felt, I left the store without the products I had paid for, simply to end the hostile interaction. I have receipts from both transactions and I am confident surveillance footage will validate my account. I have submitted a formal complaint on the Circle K website as well. It is deeply concerning to be treated in such an aggressive and disrespectful manner, especially in a retail environment where customers deserve basic courtesy and professionalism. I've had only positive interactions with other staff at this location, including a stellar experience with a blonde employee last month in June 2025, which I praised in a previous Google review. Unfortunately, due to this incident, I will no longer be returning to this store. I strongly urge management to review this matter seriously, as I do not believe it is safe or appropriate to keep an "employee" like Rose in a customer-facing role. They also carry useful convenience store items such as Tylenol, phone chargers, and cigarettes. All the stores were remodeled a few years back so this is one of the new stores. They have a rewards program where you can earn points on purchases and redeem them for food, drinks, snacks, and occasionally hoodies and shirts for prizes. The store is always stocked when I've stopped in for a coffee or Red Bull. The line moves quickly if they have a line at all. You'll find to registers up front but one is enough for the foot traffic that this location sees. Some employees can be super friendly and helpful. Others just want to finish your transaction and get back to stocking product. I haven't personally had an issue. As you'll see from previous reviews, you either love this store or you'd "give it a zero star review if you could." Another perk of this location is an ATM machine inside. Otherwise I cannot comment on the fluorescent lighting ambiance or the vibe. It's a gas station that also sells Doritos and coffee. I dig the remodels to all the stores. The new rewards program is convenient. Your seventh beverage purchase is always free. And who could forget the classic gas station slurpee? Happy this is nearby to work and walkable.
