Hello just went to purchase gas at the 730 W Beltline Desoto, Tx. I inserted my card and it kept canceling. We went inside and asked the gentleman if the pump was broke, He proceeded to keep cutting us off saying that we were canceling the transaction and Yes, the pump was working, and was acting like we were bothering him. Went back out and it said please see cashier so we went in and he says oh the card reader is broken and you need to go to another pump (he didn't even offer to just take the payment just told us to go to another pump. I am a Desoto resident and I for sure will not be back. read more

Thank Heaven for 7 Eleven.... LIES!!! Well they are alright.... You can't help but love the fact that they are open 24/7. They have ALL the on the road type snacks you could dream of... Not to mention gas at any time of night if all other gas stations have closed. Let's get back to those snacks. They have it all Hot dogs, Pizza, Nachos, Wings, Donuts, Chips, Cookies, Tea, Big Gulps, Sulpees, & Coffee.... OKAY! I think you get it on the snacks.... BUT!!! This is were I start subtracting stars... The Bathrooms are a Hot Mess!!! I almost threw up in my mouth when I went into there.... Uggg!!! I just couldn't do it... I would rather hold it until I could find refuge else where.... So for all the travelers on the road out there please be aware of this major issue. They have a sign on the door that reads " NOT ALLOWED INSIDE STORE IF YOU HAVE ON A HOODY" When I asked the young man who was ringing me up had there been robberies he said no. He asked why I asked the question and I told him because I've never seen a sign on the door of any other 7' Elevens like that. Then this other employee jumps into the conversation and says "Oh it's just like driving a car with out tags it's illegal" I replied "so when did wearing a hoodie become illegal?" The nosy employee says " well you cant come into a store trying to hide your face!". I asked " so why is it assumed someone is hiding their face because they're hiding a hoodie?" He replies " well they are". I replied "I lived in Frisco for 5 years, Carrollton for 3 yrs and in Uptown Dallas for 2 yrs and never seen a sign posted in any of those 7 elevens about hoodies not being allowed". The employee then leaps over to stand by the register and the black employee who was ringing me up and then places his arm beside the black employees arm, rolls up his sleeve then rubs his arm and exclaims "Look I'm BROWN too so don't go there-do not come in there with that". Hmm where did I go? I told him " your being brown means nothing you're not black!, further I wasnt talking to him so he jumped into my conversation. I told him dont post a sign on your door if you dont want to answer questions about the janky sign! Further I wont be back! A few months ago I noticed a sign on the debit card payment machine that read "You cant get more than $10 after 10 pm?" Then a few weeks ago the sign read "No cash back after dark"?? Again I've never seen any of these signs on any of the 7 elevens I've been in far north or north of this store period. IF they had several robberies that would help me understand the purpose of those signs was to deter those activities, but if that's not the case then there is a bad assumption being made about the people/customers who walk through their doors and I dont appreciated being treated as a threat because of clothing or because the sun went down. I'm going to reach out to corporate and the local news stations. read more
